    Wanted to ask you if you could do a Chevron quilt tutorial with a large Chevron, and then a quilt with small Chevron (rows, or blocks?) Your my first UA-cam teacher that I look to, so hoping you'll say yes😉

    Do you normally serge your pieces together for quilts? That would be a good reason to buy one ;]

    • @TheSewingRoomChannel
      @TheSewingRoomChannel  9 місяців тому +1

      Hi Valerie. When I am stitching solid one piece squares without sashing, then yes will serge the squares together. You can use a serger to sew many different types of projects. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching💗and Merry Christmas😍

    Great! I have many FQ that I can now use. My question, when is the walking ft used, at point of trim? Thanks Ms S 🥰

    • @TheSewingRoomChannel
      @TheSewingRoomChannel  9 місяців тому +2

      Hi Norma. Use the walking foot after the fabrics(quilt top, cotton batting, back fabric) are layered together. This step is shown later in the tutorial. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching💗and Merry Christmas😍

    Tried the pot holder method in your video. Corners too "thick" and looked sloppy. Do you have a video for mitered corners using the same method? Thanks!

    what about the corners.. how to?

    • @TheSewingRoomChannel
      @TheSewingRoomChannel  9 місяців тому

      Hi Carmella. Here is another tutorial on a pot holder that uses the same technique to cover the edges: ua-cam.com/video/IpiXpTIRQhA/v-deo.html
      In this tutorial you will get a closer look at the corners, and you will see that there is nothing special you have to do. All edges edges all folded over twice and then stitched down. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching💗and Merry Christmas😍
