When i first started bricklaying in college i didnt see an interest, been watching your channel and gradually been getting better. I think i could have a career in bricklaying now
Wow that was very smart. I live in Sweden . Here in scandinavia we use different equipment and we get the job done. I am a bricklayer myself but i was wondering how to use vertical string lines with a weight and such. There are so many ways to do it. That dory pole riser was so cool. Way better than raising it manually and eventually break the string. Maybe you could show more videos like this.
It’s the little things like this that add to the overall end job, you assume being in the trade that most people know these “simple” things and you don’t want to come across as patronising by telling people about them but they do help. 👍
Awesome video really helps a fellow out ! I live in Canada and I can’t find any corner post like this any tips or websites you order from? Thanks a bunch keep up the work my man 👍🏻
Another cracking video Stu! I like the short videos, quick hits not full of adverts etc. People remember stuff more when it’s bite size chunks with the odd long one thrown in for good measure 👌🏻👍🏻
Hi Stu, just came across this video and have a set of these and was wondering how to use them, I'm building a pond and put the block work on a few jobsites about a month ago with no interest at all, I don't know if it was the 140mm hollow concrete blocks that put them off or because I already have all materials, so going to bite the bullet and have a go myself, this was my original plan hence having all the materials, it was only when I felt the weight of the blocks it put me off as I have back issues, but I will just take my time and I'm sick of looking at a hole in the ground which I started digging by hand (couldn't get digger on property) over a yr ago most of that time spent digging a bit at a time, I've watched your videos for a while but any pointers would be appreciated. Rob.
Top banana STU, , every little helps ; as they say , hope your kid is feeding you loads of butties n brews while your doing her extension , great video as usual
(Unrelated and you probably know this.a reminder watch your tools.. My uncle is a self employed bricklayer and they stole all the expensive equipment out of his van - you never know they might be going around all of Britain targeting vans!!)
Cheers Stu. Really useful stuff in simple to understand bite size chunks. Keep on keeping on.
