@@junkhead1278 I wouldn't say underrated. This one was their only real good album. They turned into radio trash really quick. None of their newer stuff even holds a candle to this album.
ceyhun hesenzade I do agree with that comment ya know that's right on time. I would love to see/hear them in concert as well. The video's are still awesome live and not live.
He sounds like the original recording. How many rock singers are this consistent live? I can't think if many. Eddy vedder comes to mind, Cornell, Staley in his early years, there's not many this good live tho
Got to see them about 15xs from 96-98 in and around Bostons North Shore. Those days were absolutely insane didn't even realise we were watching history remember when Godsmack the album came out and didn't have whatever on it then they released it
im going to see them in two weeks cant wait just sucks they don't play this song go on website setlistfm.com you can see what songs they play im so stoked to see shinedown with them.
This man sure loves his fans. Enjoys while playing his music. Does it with passion. That's why I simply ADORE and LOVE this guy. Sully Erna=The Man in my book!
You just don't see this anymore...Seen these guys live a half a dozen times and they just come straight thru the amps with their signature effects. Incredible talent across the whole stage.
I've seen godsmack live several times and we always talk about how godsmack doesn't need visuals at all, they come out on stage kick your ass and then leave you satisfied as fuck
@@patsmith6405 I've always wanted to see them live I passed up godsmack tickets to go see tool when they released fear innoculum, which I dont regret at all, but damn I wanna see godsmack, sully's voice is unmatched. Always will be, hes a fuckin beast
As a drummer of 28 years, Jazz, Metal, rock, country, salsa, Ska, and everything in between, I will say as someone who has listened to this song and played it, at 1:26 you can see Shannon Larkin thinking about the rest and what he's going to do next. Brilliant.
That's just the way he plays. Watch the other videos and you will see him freezin'. There are a few out there doing the same a couple of times on str8 out of line too.
As a drummer myself, it’s a time keeping method. I call it a time freeze, cause if I don’t, I’ll accidentally add something and it could throw the whole song off
I know this comment is extremely old but this is how they sound live. Their is no vocal mixing. I've seen them over 5 times, they sound better than their albums live. Love going to their concerts
@@deangelobayley7079 I really feel like you have no idea what you're talking about. These are Sully's raw vocals, no post production or pitch correction.
Been jamming to this song (and Godsmack in general) since I was like 6-7 years old. And here I am almost 20 years later FULL BLOWN head banging to Moon Baby at 9 am before heading off to work 🤘🤘 My momma would be proud 😂😂
this one is just beyond f""""n awesome........seriously Sully makes the majority of the lead singers look like Shirley Temple......#SullyForPresident...... ;)
Such a great live performance. Was listening to this as an angsty teen and still listening now as a mom commuting to work living a basic life. It doesn't get old. I do, though.
First concert my dad and I went to together I was 19 in 99' and seen them open for Black Sabbath . He became a Godsmack fan and I a Black Sabbath fan. I miss you Dad .
So Sully's breathing at 3:07 randomly popped in my head today. I haven't watched this live show in years. I just picked Moon Baby randomly and it was the song I was looking for.
Everything about this song is exquisite except for the memories associated with it that i re-live everytine i hear it. J now you have someone that will give you back everything you've you gave. Now ,you will know how it all feels. Congratulations. You earned it.

Probably, the most prolific singer/songwriter within the last 50 years and maybe all time .. He puts a lot of deep passion into all his music (alot more soulful sound and fun stuff, with a totally different band) Matchbox 20 has been around for twenty five years plus Tabatha's Secret... Thanks for all of your music.. and all the wonderful memories to draw from...
Wow what a trip through the past. My husband was in a Godsmack cover bad, back in the day. They were called Smear out of TO. Hubby has an uncanny resemblance to Tony. Fun fact Tony now plays PRS. Which my husband Deny Boucher played. 👍🏻 Good Times.
Severely underrated song. One of their best, IMO.
My favorite

Forever my favorite Godsmack song. Sully's vocals are pristine here. Such great breath control.

The whole band is underrated

Sully is an excellent drummer too. Shannon and Sully used to do drum duels in concert. Awesome.
