Shannon is what this band is so thankful for cause he puts the polish on their unique sound.

And Shannon is just insane - never see him mentioned in the "Oh this drummer is the best" bullshit on the net - but the dude deserves more respect he is infinitely more entertaining to watch than most. Taking nothing away from the rest of the band - been all over the east coast to see them.

Me as a drummer practicing this song and a bunch of other godsmack songs, I wish I could have been there. This video came out exactly one day before I was born, so me knowing godsmack as much as I do, with I could have drummed there.

i first saw Shannon Larkin with Wrathchild America opening for Testament and I thought that he was fucking amazing back then,then a couple years later my band Alienation got to open shows for Souls at Zero(which is wrathchilds name change) in san antonio tx and dallas and got to meet him and hang out was cool then i didnt hear about him until i heard he joined Godsmack which is a perfect band for him...love him still...

As a hippie generation listener, really into the genre of music bands like Godsmack saliva Drowning Pool Etc, godsmack's drummer is pretty amazing, they are very tight band when all is said and done! And who can't like a tough ass front man named Sully🎸🔊✌
I don't think Shannon is totally under radar in the percussion community but he is certainly deprived of the absolute recognition he deserves as a total boss on the kit
@Bohemia220 The way I see it Godsmack is one of a kind, they come out with their own sound they don't really sound like anyone else, Sully can sing so great, Shannon can drum out of this world, Tony can play just about any riff ever, & Robbie can rock out with his bass.
Everybody here barks about Larkin being the best and etc. Although good, He will never be Tommy Stewart. Tommy had the skills, the physique, the presence and the showmanship that Shanon will never achieve, as a complete package. Listen to this same song from the 2001 Worcester concert. Then, you will see the difference. After his departure, Godsmack became watered down version of itself. We miss you Tommy.
