the tu and u at the end of each word u hear are more of things we add at the end to ''classify'' a word per se.
google translate gave u the mute version of the word, the silent kind without those things, and it is more of a formal way of speech than slang.
u did amazing denny! arabic is hard, even for its own speakers sometimes lol.

As for the Malay word, “menggunakan”, you can separate it into 4 syllables: “meng”, “gu”, “na”, “kan”….for beginners, you can say it slowly, then faster. The root word, is “guna”, which means “use” in English. Hope that helps 😊

For someone who’s not fluent in Arabic you did very well speaking the language, I’m so proud 😭. Also at 11:08 the extra words you were hearing are diacritic marks. For example the letter "t" with diacritic marks would look like this "تَ" which is pronounced as "ta", "تُ" is pronounced as "to"… etc. They are most commonly used at the end of a word, even if the word is the same, the meaning can drastically change depending on the diacritic mark. They sometimes can be pronounced without being there, that’s why you heard extra letters being pronounced without them being there. I’m very bad at explaining 😅 but hopefully it clears some of the confusion you had.
English native speaker aren't good at speaking Arabic.
In my opinion, japanese is the most easiest one for English native speakers because all syllabus are spoken equally like for example:
Murasaki むらさき (purple).
It will be pronounced as Murasaki
Not Muu-rasaki neither muraa-saki.
Every alphabet have equal pronounce and easy alphabet sounds except "Tsu"

The Arabic language is difficult, but we speak it easier. Classical Arabic is difficult. The translator can never pronounce the letters correctly. He adds sounds in a strange way, but in fact, we have many rules that we are studying so far. They have very many dialects, and the sounds in the end. These are called vowels. They are letters or small shapes that we put on top of or Under the letter, which often changes the pronunciation and changes the meaning. All letters have these vowels, but we often do not write them because we speak the colloquial dialect (simplified Arabic). Thank you for trying to learn this language.✨✨✨✨

The cause why Arabic doesn’t add the letters is because it’s called (harakat) in Arabic but in English it’s called ways so basically it goes on top of an Arabic letter and makes either an “a” “o” or “e” sound.
Although if there’s 2 on the letter, it’s makes a “tan”, “tun” or “tin”
