a way I learned how to remember that eukaryotes have a nucleus and prokaryotes don't is this:
_"Euks have nuks"_
This would remind me that eukaryotes have a nucleus, which would then remind me that prokaryotes don't have "nuks" or a nucleus
Hope this helps XD~
oh, that`s one brilliant way to do it!!
it does thank you!!!
I agree
What about "Euks launch Nukes"
You're a genius 👏👏🙌
YOU GUYS MAKE BIOLOGY TOLERABLE AND PRETTY FUNNY. pure talent
I love biology. Biology is always fun expect for you guys who don't take it as the way it is
Mitochondria is the power House of the cell
Fabian Covarrubias **Mitochondrian
@Bertie Spencer... they said Mitochondria _is, is_ is used for a singular subject, like *mitochondrion* . You don’t say apples is good, you say apple is good. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ think about that whenever you’re about to criticize someone
I did spell mitochondrion wrong though 😬
Fabian Covarrubias what was the point of this was it a joke because someone straight up said mitochondria is the power house of the cell

You have made my biology class so much easier, I would also like to say thank you for that and making worksheets that are easy to understand covering the entire subject.
Just started studying Biology on my path to become a Zoologist. I learn more from one of these videos than I do from a 1 hr lecture on the same topic 😅. Love you content, clear, concise and easily understandable.
Please continue making these videos. They literally save my life in Microbiology, Biology and even sometimes Anatomy/Physiology.

I especially liked that vocabulary part. It was really new and kept learning interesting and easy. Its a great way to make a mind map of all the points as well as revise. Thank you for your great explaination. May Allah bless you!
Wow. Seriously impressive communication of scientific info. I was here just to get some review for an upcoming Medical Microbiology class. The 'antibiotics vs bacteria' sequence with the various mechanisms of bacterial inactivation (seen here as different video game combo moves) was a work of art. I just had to stop and comment. Very well done, and thanks for helping me prepare for my quiz.
You always come to my rescue! I enjoy the visual and graphics of these videos which make studying so much easier!
I'm a new medical student, and your videos are really helpful❤️ thank you amoeba sisters, keep your spirit👍🏻
I memorized every single trait from the eu and pro cells, I can´t believe I did it. Thank you for everything!
This was actually helpful! I managed to learn quite a few things and found it interesting! Thank you and love your channel so much! Keep it up! ❤️
Thank you! You’re videos are sooo helpful for revision. The format is easy and simple and the characters are cute! Keep it up! :)
Thank you for all these videos Amoeba Sisters! You don’t know how much this helps us!! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank You Amoeba Sisters for this now I understand our lesson and I can answer my assignment in biology. BTW I love how the way you teach and the animation also.

You guys are the best! I learned so much! I've always loved learning, but you guys are the best for simply explaining concepts. Thank you!
Out of all things I thought I would remember for my test today, this was one thing i didn't remember. Very helpful video! Thank y'all for making it!
These kind of videos make learning so much fun for today's kids. Wish we had this when we were in school. But thank you making such videos. It helps in improving one's knowledge.

Currently studying with this for my german exam and it's actually helping so much to learn stuff in a different language! I think that's because I have to be more focused on what is being said. I'm just more concentrated as if I'm listening to a german explanation.
Also, german studying videos are fine but not as bright and fun as these are. That helps to remember all the stuff aswell! Thank you for your hard work!❤
This was an amazingly put together video I would definitely recommend to a friend thank you and keep up the good work.

We watched this during class and my friend that sits next to me laughed at the comic so hard, she loved it lol, it wasn't too bad tbh. You've taught me a weeks worth of studying, I appreciate you.
all of your videos are amazing. Explanation combined with animation such a great way to learn biology.
These videos really help me understand
Thank you for this! I'm reading "The Vital Question" by Nick Lane, and I read the first chapter and realized my vocabulary in microbiology was all mixed up, and I needed some video refreshers.. This video was nice and clear. Loved it!
What can be used to treat diseases caused by viruses?
Also, I LOVE your videos! When I was a middle schooler, I took a high school biology course online, so when I didn't understand something while working on my high school bio work, I would always refer to your videos. Even for review, your videos are great! Your drawings really help me imagine the concept and therefore help me understand the topic a LOT better! Love you Amoeba Sisters! Great Job and keep it up!
depends on what type of virus, if you asking about a specfic disease that you most certainly know a virus is responsible like in HIV for example then you can use antiviral drugs like zamanivir, ozetalmivir etc you can google them, if its another sort of disiease for example a common flu then you usually dont use drugs, since its autolimited by your organism, but for those annoying runny nose symptoms and headaches doctors usually prescribe Tylenol , or some other antihistaminic drugs to cope with your daily routine. These are just some examples kinda used the extremes, hope it helped

Its just science
Hey. My Grade 8 science teacher told me to watch this. YOU ARE PART OF MY CIRRUCLUM.
Flunks biology in high school and currently in my first class of biology at Uni and this is saving me by helping me understand what my lecturer is even saying.
Nicely done, informative, and fun to watch!
I'm writing a bit of fan fiction (Mass Effect,) and I want to make one particular species of crazy hostile alien (vorcha) *prokaryotic* as a way of explaining why they don't get *our* diseases (like cancer, or even colds,) and why they heal so fast you can watch it happen.
At the moment, I'm hoping to make them a sort of superorganism with colonies of different prokaryotes providing specialised functions (vision, motion, etc.) to the larger organism.
How much "suspension of disbelief" will a microbiologist have to deploy to accept this? What sort of crazy things might make it possible? Are there real-world considerations that can be explained away with exotic chemistry, or are there extremophiles that might help make such things possible?
