Hey mate, with the cameras when the turn signal is on, why does the camera face forward, when it’s is to my side and slightly behind? Hopefully there is a ways to set the cameras so they show behind instead of in front.

I'm wondering what is that device sticking out of your air deflector under the display? Is it a mobile phone holder?
If so can you share a model of it please? And in general what kind of such devices are compatible with HS air deflector grills?

Thanks for the comment. It is a phone holder through the air vent. The product was from a Chinese domestic website but Aliexpress sells a similar one here:

I view few complaints about a serious issue with sun heat penetrates via the windshield, something extraordinary.
Have you heard about it? Especially with sunny days at summer.

Most cars' front windscreen has no heat reduction or tint. The heat is caused by the interior material. It does get hot but that's it. If it annoys you, just get a dash mate or something.

So in general dealing with the heat is not different from other cars?
Hi … thanks for these details !! It helped a lot to understand different functions on the car . I just wanted to ask one help which is the outside temperature display on the right hand top corner of that display panel , how do I reset that display as it just disappeared leaving two dashes and o’ degree - the numbers disappeared this I noticed after the last service .
May be related to faulty temperature sensor, check with MG dealer.
What do you do if you lock your key in the trunk of the car? The other day I had to go home and grab the second key to open it. For all MG HS drivers, unlock your car first before opening the trunk so you don´t accidentally leave your keys in after closing it!
Yep, that is an issue for power tailgate.
In regards to the uk, there are so many 20mph speed signs for side roads that the sensor picks up on and will slow you down from 40-30mph, so don't really think the intelligence speed assist is ideal for normal roads, seems like a great idea for motorway driving tho (especially smart motorways with varying speed limits)
Yep, most owners don't use intelligence speed assist but it is good to have it available.
Hi Jerry, love your work. I have a 22 HS PHEV and when ever I change something under car settings it doesn't stick. On next restart setting changes are lost. Is there an extra "save" setting somewhere ? Thanks
Depends on the settings. Some settings will be reset every time you start.

Not available for HS range
My friend got the 2023 MG HS he paid £10,000 extra for the plug in version, he got 230 miles range out a full tank patethic granted he has not charged it however if he had charged it he probably would got an extra 18 miles at 70 mph speeds with the heater on

The purpose of PHEV is to plug in to utilise the battery EV driving. I would never recommend PHEV to anyone if they don’t want to plug in at all.
Can you tell me how to change the dashboard on an HS 23 plate - UK ? It’s not like any videos I’ve seen & it’s driving me nuts ! There’s no info in the book re changing the dash 🙁

Hi Jerry, I have MG EV MCE Essence and I have turned Lane assist off in MG pilot. But when you have speed contol on it still seems to activate lane assist going on in this function . How do you turn this function off? regards Peter

Could the screen be replaced to somthing faster that works with Android auto? I saw that in India and Thailand they have ismart.

Do you know how to keep the radio off when starting up?
Manually adjust volume to zero (not the mute button)
Is there any way to change, mute or turn off the sound? I have never experienced anything worse than the MG warning sound.
I'm not a fan of it either but you cannot turn off the warning sound unfortunately.
Where buy spare parts online mg hs?
Not sure. Speak to your local dealer or parts place.
