Here's a short list of what I'd like in D3: 1. A new setting and story. I think we need to leave this solar system 2. I agree with Datto overall, but D3 does need an upgraded engine along with a new look than what we have currently. I think it's very important, otherwise visually it will contribute the staleness of the game and Destiny fatigue 3. New gameplay loop. Strikes and Raids are fun, but they need to take the repetitiveness out of it. I can imagine a more Helldivers style engagement, by having specific tactical objectives in an operation, so we can strategize the way we do for GMs now (which is fun) but the locations and specific details are more randomized. In place of weekly and revolving strikes, you could have weekly strategic objectives. Raids would be major, multi-step operations that involve at least 6 guardians (or more?). There is lots of room to expand gameplay, including groups of raid teams working in joint operations.
I agree with these ideas, thanks for posting them. I'd like to see a party of companions in your fireteam - like the opening of D2 Red War, fighting alongside Ikora and Zavala
Destiny always keeps me coming back. Lightfall was a huge gut punch, but Im enjoying season of the wish and the into the light, and Final Shape looks good. Im optimistic for Destiny's future. Destiny 3, count me in!
@endgamexpress I also got my friend back into the game. Last we played together was the Forsaken era. He was my right-hand guardian from year one D1. We met in the cosmodrome at the good old loot cave.
I'm praying we get a brand new destiny for next gen I have no interest on playing any games that were made for my ps4 🤣🤣 if bungies drops a new destiny for next gen it will be the number 1 game played hands down!🤣
They don't need to drop a new destiny for a next gen. Rise of iron was a next gen update that left behind consols like the 360. Would be much easier and far more efficient to drop old gen and continue destiny 2
Bungie isn't going to exist for long after the last expansion. Marathon is in deep trouble and Sony is probably going to cancel it and dissolve Bungie. Destiny 3 will never happen.
