Yes it can. I'd highly recommend going one step up the Roland ladder and going for the TD07 module. This is where you start getting decent editing capabilities. I don't think theres any option on the td02 so you're stuck with the stock sounds. Trust me, it makes a massive difference being able to eq and tune the kit how you like it.
I just bought these drums and the only way I can play them without headphones is to hook them up to my JBL party box with an aux cable. This works but there is a very annoying split second delay that drives me nuts. They do sound awesome but I want other people to hear them without headphones on. How do I get rid of this delay? Better quality aux cable? If I buy the monitor that goes with it, will this get rid of it? These are stage worthy drums but when it comes to electronics... I'm stumped! Please let me know what to do and what causes the delay. Peace✌️
One think i hate about Roland entry lever kits is there is no option to edit kits only fixed kits, even yamaha entry level kits has an option to edit kits, i find it very very very dissapointing from the world's best Brand in musical instruments Roland, please that into consideration
You are better off with using a laptop and EZ Drummer 3. Just connect this module to the laptop with a MIDI cable or USB (i'm not sure if that's an option) and this drum can sound as good as any electronic drum out there.
@@pleitedieb9290with regards the sounds there's no difference but a mesh head will always feel much more realistic than a rubber pad. You can "tune" a mesh head in the traditional way you'd tune an acoustic drum so the rebound can be pretty much the same. Rubber pads are nice if you like using practice pads but it's never going to be like playing real drums.
It's a pity that there is no "BEL" sound on the ride cymbal, on the TD-!kv when you hit harder you had a "bel" sound, and now you need a cymbal with three zones...
I'd imagine you still *could* assign a bell sound to a crash when you hit the cymbal it hard. It's not the same as a proper 3 zone ride but doable. Unless the module doesn't have a ride sound.
Yes it would be great to show off the jazz side of drumming. Not everyone aspires to be a metal rock or hip hop drummer. Some of us are into jazz drumming as well. Glad you pointed that out. P.s I’d like to see how he’d go at trading 4s.😉
Been looking for a new kit, great video bro thanks
🔥🔥🔥🔥Immensely fascinating Video
Wow that is appealing🙏
Hi, could you use brush sticks with this drum set?
Looking to get this as my first drum kit. Can it be folded to store it on a corner like other Roland drum kits?

Nice video ✌✌
Top Notch 🌷

What about the noise level? Is it acceptable or would you recommend a mesh one instead? (it's for a flat)
Hi We we would say the sound from the pads is an acceptable level as they are quite thick and soft, however it is not as quiet as mesh!
If i hate those pre-sounds in the module is there anyway to load own sounds from DAW like reaper ?

Esse módulo é compatível com a TD-1kv
How to seting all pads are center level, disconect stereo volume,
I tell everyone how amazing you are 🎇
Didnt even think Roland made any kits without at least a mesh snare
Is a mesh head better? I felt it has a little bit more bounce then the rubber of thr td02k

If I already have this unit can I upgrade the snare to the mesh?
is that the rim sound?
Yeah you can use pretty much any compatible mesh pad. Most are compatible with roland modules.

I’m pretty sure it has velocity switch on the ride just like the td1k
what i'm gonna do is mix the real acoustic rim sound with the kit
👍💝💘
Skips right over the Jazz kits. LOL. He probably wouldn't know a triplet Ride pattern if he fell over one.
