Just saw a segment on the Travel Channel about the Amphicar. The inventors were from Saratoga Springs, New York. Cool tie in to the Saratoga Springs Resort!
Thanks so much for posting this video! Just want to throw out my two cents as a born-and-bred Floridian: Never, EVER assume any lake, or any body of water bigger than a puddle, is “gator free” in Florida. I’m sure the boat cap’n meant well, but I’ve never heard that duck hypothesis in my life and wouldn’t trust it. I’m not trying to scare anyone, but awareness is key, especially if you’re not familiar with our marshy wetlands!
I have to agree. Gators can go anywhere they like. They can even climb fences!“How to tell if an alligator is in the water: Is the water wet? There’s probably an alligator in it”.

Oh wow! I’ve never heard that. Very cool tie to the resort! Thanks for sharing. I love Disney trivia, easter eggs and subtle nods.
