@@Eddycheeee Genuinely a delightful man, and has never let his affliction affect his life in any way. Next time I see him, I'll let him know he's circulating youtube again. Lol.
I saw this TV show years ago, it's the funniest thing I've ever seen, laughed so much I couldn't breathe. The lady from citizens advice deserves a medal, how she could keep a straight face is unbelievable.
Lewis Capaldi has Tourette’s and during a live concert his tics kicked in and interrupted his performance and the wonderful crowd took over the singing for him. A magical moment.
My adult daughter has tourettes. It can be funny but very exhausting and the physical tics can be painful. It's very mixed. As for Eddy saying about blurting things out that come to mind can sometimes be related to ADHD and to a lesser degree Autism. When you're assessed for ADHD they do ask if you struggle to stay quiet or blurt out things. I am diagnosed with both.
Must be hard for these people, and everyone close to them. But at least they try to do something in that little group. Imagine the whole group down the pub on a saturday night... Swear box better be huge.
this must be horrendous to be happening all the time, to constantly shout private thoughts. as onlookers, we can laugh & be amused for a short time then walk away. for them, it’s a never ending wide awake nightmare.
There's another part to this video somewhere where they're on a holiday caravanning and their ticks are all setting each other off. If you'd like to see an great interview with someone suffering/succeeding with Tourettes, look for "Russell speaks to real life hero Jess Thom" on the Russel Howard channel. Be ready to hear "Biscuits" a lot :D
I remember when many moons ago they first showed a Tourette's programme on TV and we all sat down to watch it as a family. OMG ! My dad just lost it and could hardly breath from laughing , so did I & my sisters and mum just kept saying we were so bad. Bloody hilarious, and you have to be inhuman not to laugh at this condition/tick. Life is too short and serious at the best of times and we humans are built to laugh, so laugh at what makes you laugh. If someone is offended, then let them be offended. Nothing happens. The just feel offended. So what !
I watched Jonny Davidson since the BBC did a documentary when Jonny was 7 in Gallashields the border of Scot& England & blew me away when all this appeared later in years on you-tube,he's my HERO basically he's getting on in life " you cannot help but laugh" it's just instinct really as there all so comical & so happy you did a great video on Jonny Davidson & his other Freinds 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 your dog got tits 😂😂😂
You should take a look at the documentary about John and his family when he was a young teenager, "John's not mad", it's a difficult watch at times but it's good to see him coping admirably as an adult. I'm with you though coz as much as it's debilitating for sufferers it is funny as fuck.😂👌
i saw a film about tourettes syndrome in the 90s, it was about UK kids going to a camp in the USA where everyone had tourettes. it was great until they had a day out in an ethnic neighbourhood in a US city..... did not end well
Tourettes is complex, and swearing 'Tourettes' is actually a subset - 1 in 100 in the UK have Tourettes, only 1 in 10 of those have sweaing Tourettes which is actually called Coproalia
From a position of no real knowl;edge, so far as I know Tourettes is a range of things from 'just' involuntary physicsl tics (twitches, etc.,) which is the most common form, all the way up to the 'what everyone thinks it is' of the curse words, obscenities, and sweaing, etc., which is the rarer form. I seem to recall listening to an interview with a lady who had a mildish form, which 'allowed' her to recognise she was about to have an outburst and she could often moderate what she was going to say, turning it into the word 'biscuit'.
Spot on Bro!! It is super funny- and People with Tourettes feel relaxed if you laugh at their tics. It’s people being offended, staring at them or ostracising them that they hate and fear most. Xx
I've just moved away from Galashiels, and I know John. He's hilarious. He also doesn't care if people laugh with him. Genuine guy. ❤
In all the programmes and interviews featuring John Davidson he comes across as genuine and likeable.
I used to work with John in gala. Great guy always friendly and helpful.
love people like that

Different type his tics are muscle spasms he can't control
@@Acelticsportperson but it is STILL Tourettes.
That was so such a beautiful performance which really touched him he was so emotional when they started singing.
@@Acelticsportpersoni mean have you heard the things he says in interviews, i wouldnt be surprised if tourettes has something to do with that😂

On a serious side, it would be hard to find a job or make friends with such an affliction.
John's got an MBE, he works with children's workshops, police, the council. Hard working guy.
Eddy....this thing is the funniest thing I've ever seen....seen it years ago and still makes me buckle Everytime

🤣🤣🤣
Honest to fck, impossible not to laugh. 😅
very true
It must be difficult to diagnose Tourettes in Scotland, we pretty much all talk like that
🤣🤣
Can't believe I'm watching a Nigerian watching this and he understands the accent.... brilliant mate
Never laugh anyone of us can become like this it justs take a illness or a trigger to make you tick.
Its important to differentiate between laughing at them and laughing at what they are saying.
Here we go the old woke brigade again ! People only laugh at what they say so why go down that road
Sometimes it's better to be alone than be around fake friends bro.
You come up here! I'll take you on Glasgow buses!😂
Tourettes is very complex
Chopper (bald fella) passed away a couple of years ago. If I remember I think he was only in his early 50's.
Im from Glasgow! Hilarious 😂
We need to watch the full episode it would be gd to see how everyone is getting on in life now who took part 🏴
it is funny as they cannot stop saying what is on their mind and the worst possible thing to say in any circumstance
There's a video with a Scottish kid with tourettes and it will guarantee to make you laugh.
Love the blues scarf in the back 💙
