Grew up in this area. Happy beautiful years. So much innocent fun times. Quite a few of the shops are still there after decades. That Hardware store on the corner of Sheridan avenue must have been there since 1 AD. Lol. Great Video. 🙏🏾

Great job on documenting this part of the Bronx! Grew up in College Ave 167thSt. Studied at JHS 22 right down the hill!! Brought me back great childhood memories! Haven't been there since '89. Wish I could visit someday and document my Playground! Keep up the good work! Peace!

morisania section of the bronx the old morisania hospital was on the corner of 167'st and gerard ave and Walton ave and on the corner of 167'st and jerome ave was the 4' line and the old abandoned movie theater that no one remembers the name of the theater it was closed up , but like most bronx kids in the mid 70's we figured how to get the very spooky place , explore it and throw hookie parties were we'd be on the roof and the giant house like air unit was the make out club , later down the road a bit when the hospital closed down and got spooky we'd also go in their but only at night because the hospital was real scary to , old sch graffiti writer= dead leg 167' who changed his name to dead on lived on 167'st on walton ave , and a few of the old bunch before early 80's wild style came about

@@laciguapamagic1235 , the kent was on the otherside of the grand concourse , im talking about a theater on the corner of Jerome ave that closed in the mid to late 50's and was closed and abandoned , in the early 70's we finally figured a way in and we used to throw hookie ( cutting class) parties their and tag the roof walls , the projection room was ok , the rest of the theater was soggy
