@@cheesecakegames I actually really enjoyed the story and want to know what happened with the Blackthornes - I think in this situation just reach out to people and explain you’re doing this project with no budget, I think you’d be surprised with the amount of people wanting to channel their inner voice over dreams. I’d be more than happy to help if you need it. Just think the human element always surpasses the AI
Im gonna be honest, i didnt notice that about the voices at all. Maybe the "its not paniced when it should be" okay, that happens with voice actors with insufficient instructions quite a bit as well. Even with fairly big studios often times there are some last minute shuffles (or third party providers for that and somewhere along the line the context of the sentences is lost) in terms of when what is being said in which case the tone often doesnt quite match. So...

The AI voices definitely are taking from the game, but so far the story seems nice.

AI art, AI voices, probably AI writing... this is gonna get bad. Maximum slop, zero soul.
Needs to get rid of the soulless and dead voices, desperately. Or get some friends/other devs/youtubers to voice act, anything is better than those dead sounding robot voices.
