    Check out Scrimba today and get an extra 20% off their Pro plan when you use this link: v2.scrimba.com/?via=DorianDevelops The Pro plan is around $40 per month in the US, but if you choose the annual plan, you get 6 months free-that's 50% off! Plus, they adjust pricing based on the cost of living in most countries.

    I just finished the js course and can actually say the teaching method is frictionless and the reinforcement actually makes everything stick. 100/10

    I mentioned this place to you a while ago on X. Pretty unique way to learn that re-enforces the material.

      Yeah it's very different from other learning platforms and super engaging as far as a learning experience goes!

      @@luciusrexYeah, that's totally his point debating on whether we should call it X or Twitter.

    I like the experience that Scrimba gives you. It's really interactive and engaging. Personally for me though, I prefer reading material and taking my own notes to make sure concepts stick. I've been using FullStack Open coupled with AI and projects for my primary learning and I use Scrimba for accent material to brush up on things.

    Yes my friend i know scrimba, it's Norwegian one, i learnd everything in half year just 2 hours each day, you can write code in video, that is great, they teach lots of javascript, you write code all the time, only this way we can learn something

    I'm glad you partnered with Scrimba. Amazing website for learning! I was struggling with React a lot after an Udemy course and Scrimba helped me a lot. Was much more interactive, small, frequent practices. Shoutout to Bob Ziroll for his excellent courses!

    I did scrymba a few years ago. To be exact 2 years ago. I like their idea of teaching but to be honest one of my concerns was about how to set a local environment to start a project. They didn't have a template or a solution. Everything was web based which is fine but what about starting a new project in your laptop? Did they solve this problem? Just curious.

    Went to their website (through Dorian's link ofc) and they're offering free project based courses! I sped through typescript over the weekend so it'll be nice to see how others code in ts! Thanks for sharing!

    I lovr scrimba as it encourages programming not just listening. If you habe 2 monitors i find that youtube and a laptop is great, but if just habe a laptop, it makes it a pleasure to code along

    I love Scrimba! Using their JS course right now. I was going through TOP and their JS section is unbearable. Thankfully found Scrimba so will return to TOP once I finish.

      @@kewner8556 all of the material they use for the opening JS sections are very dry. I had to find an easier way to intake the info.

      I know you're joking buuuuut this is exactly why access to publishers (academics) is soooo expensive. I don't get gatekeeping knowledge (read super expensive paywall) . Ideas (and applying yourself teaching) maybe but knowledge for these common and free tools, idk.

    • @nathanp3366
      @nathanp3366 Місяць тому +1

      This is not why access to publishers is expensive. That would imply the authors are paid for people viewing their work which is not true. That’s an entire rabbit hole and in fact there is a related lawsuit going on right now.
