Is the concrete haunch laid on top of the hardcore so would only be about 25mm thick and once the middle is filled with the granite dust it’s flush with the concrete haunch?
I believe its 3 inch . Im on holiday atm so not able to measure . Here's a link to the tools www.oxtoolsusa.com/hand-tools/concrete-tools.html I hope that help , thanks for commenting 🙏
To be honest I've never want to stretch into the edge's Ideal you want your grass to overlap the edges and then cut them in. In a real Ideal situation you would roll grass out, leave to settle for half hour, a sunny day is best conditions , once settled cut it. I genuinely don't lay artificial between late October and March as prefer to lay in warmer weather. But if I've ever had to stretch the grass I've always used a carpet stretcher - www.screwfix.com/p/magnusson-extendable-knee-kicker-470mm/344FT?tc=XA8&gclid=Cj0KCQjwtJKqBhCaARIsAN_yS_kymRGyVuH6fuwAh_J293fo6UBcpKy4aq7_ESAhQYmi-u2stxsq6kcaAgrUEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds Do you do a lot of artificial grass? Do you do anything differently?
I've drilled rawl plugs into haunching and then screwed artificial grass down, let's you pull it tight as best you can. Often wonder how well adhesive can cope with our changeable climate, but it it's working for you that's great. Always overlay artificial grass then trim as necessary. Knee kicker is a great idea. Keep the videos coming.👍👍
great idea with the rawl plugs, regarding adhesive ive always used AQUABOND and never had any problems and have only ever used that and only recommend that product, used a competitor once and it pulled off like glue tack lol knee kicker great help on long joins. Cheers JC always appreciate your comments and support. I hope all is well
I'll try remember aqua bond of i need to do joins, can't use screws for that. Do you ever offer aftercare on artificial grass? I've used a hard surface cleaner mixed with weedkiller to control moss and weeds before it becomes a problem but not many people seem interested, I think no matter how good a job it's impossible to keep weeds and moss free.

How do you go about stretching the artificial grass nice and tight when you're using an adhesive
