‘Here We Come A-Wassailing’ for Recorder, with sheet music!

This wasn’t quite the video I had planned for New Year, but I ended up messing around with the bongos, so here we are…
As is usually the case with ‘traditional’ folk songs, there are many different versions of the Wassailing song. I thought I’d add mine to the pile.
I play through a couple of verses, and then the sheet music comes up. This is nice and simple to play, as it just repeats for as many verses and choruses as you want.
Hope you enjoy playing it!
The recorder is a Mollenhauer Denner soprano in pearwood.
The bongos are from a supermarket a long time ago.

I have a new xmas recorder music book. It teaches how to play the xmas songs in snippets with some theory before introducing you to the song itself. I found a slightly simpler version of this Wassailing song. Now I've learnt it with some slurs. Your fault. 🤣 Never heard this tune before. Your version is on a loop in my brain now and won't find the exit. You've gotten really good at your multi instrument pieces. Even if this one turned into a earworm. Hahahahahahaha🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂😉😉😉😉. Sure is! Only cheap ones. Bought on a whim from a supermarket about 10 years ago… knew they’d come in handy one day!
