Hi there, what would you say is the latency between the camera and the image being shown on the screen. The use case would be hooking up a trailer. If the camera image is delayed too much between "real time" and "screen time" then I might just get hole in my bumper :-) ...
@TheNinoherr unfortunately the latency varies all the time, I would recommend a wired camera for your use or if you really want to go wireless then this ua-cam.com/video/HYmXaGZxjis/v-deo.htmlsi=X_ixhHYrJ3pnc5Tp will work without the long latency problems, best of luck
@SHORTwithTECH great. I am not concerned about the water. It's about the rotating brushes. I ordered one using your link. I hope you get some reward/Payback from the seller 😉😁
@TarajiYaDawla Thank you, but I do not have any affiliate link with the company. As for the rotating brushes, the camera is a strong design so it should be ok, it does vertically tilt though so they might knock the angle of the camera out of adjustment so you may need to readjust it with your hand again after the wash but the tilt is also very stiff to move so that may not be a problem either
Hi , great video. I have just ordered a Carsanbo 5G wifi cam I wish to hook up to a dash mounted Galaxy Tab A 8.0(2019) tablet. I have set up my mobile phone to trigger a wifi hotspot when I enter my car such that the tablet connects as a wifi client when I start the engine. If my tablet is already connected to my phone for data, does this mean I will have to first disconnect my tablet from the host phone in order to connect to the camera? I have heard of features on my phone called WIFI direct, but not sure whether its possible for the tablet to be simultaneously be connected to my phone and the camera at the same time ( like how bluetooth can work ) ?
No that works fine. You don't need to disconnect your tablet from the Hotspot connection of your phone, both connections will work at the same time, I do that all the time aswell. I'm guessing your using the Hotspot just so your tablet has a connection to the internet, because you do know that you don't need an internet connection to use this camera right? It's just WiFi5
@@SHORTwithTECH yeah I just to understand what the differentiation will be on my Galaxy TabA for normal internet connection vs "WiFi5" , so just need research before the cam arrives in the post
@ebodjarvo there is always going to be a significant delay for the camera to connect to the device over wifi irrespective of the device being used unfortunately
@@SHORTwithTECH I'm probably ok with this as I intend for the cam to be powered up constantly and effectively when I'm entering zone I'm about to park in, I would just have a shortcut to the app ready on my tablet
@ebodjarvo yeh thats the best way to set it up to get around the connection delay issue. If you want to use the reversing switch then this is a better option ua-cam.com/video/HYmXaGZxjis/v-deo.htmlsi=th2rP-UpqL2v6OqG
Does this require a working internet connection to work? Or can we just start the car and have the video show up on the device without any internet connection?
No, it's just WIFI-5. Just power up the camera and connect to the app on your phone like in the video and the image will be displayed on your phone after a few seconds
@@SHORTwithTECHanother follow up question, is there a way to set up a simple tablet in the car that when the car goes in reverse it automatically shows the reverse camera, when it goes into drive it goes back to regular screen? Or how would we go about doing that?
@asderven The Wifi-5G basically just refers to the way it transmits the image from the camera to the app without any distortion and its unbelievably stable. I've been testing it for several days now and i still cannot believe how good it is
@asderven Yes and no. This Thursday I will be releasing another car wifi camera video which I think will be better for what your wanting to do with that question so don't go spending any money till you have watched that video first as it works quite a bit different to the how this camera works

Nice video. Thank you. What about car washing places. The automatic ones you drive in to wash the car in gas stations e.g.. thanks for answering. 👍🏽
@TarajiYaDawla the camera is designed to be mounted externally so its waterproof

Not working with android.
@yepachternaam565 Android 14 is the OS being used on all the devices in this video
Seeing out your windscreen is so overrated now, anyway.
Yeh, using cameras is so much more fun aswell
