The "Sucking thumbs" bit reminded me of an old British show called "Grisly Tales For Gruesome Kids!". They did short animated segments of horror. From fairytale to made up by writers.
The one I remmeber was about a man that cut thumbs off of children who sucked them. As a young boy who sucked his thumb; it scared the ever loving shit out of me.
Oh, Der Struwelpeter! That's the 6th story in that book iirc, and not even the most gruesome in my opinion. Heinrich Hoffman wasn't pulling his punches. Not all 10 of them have people dying or being mutilated, but the one about a girl burning alive and the only one that gives a damn is her cat haunted me as a kid.

This game IS really odd for a person from The extended Scandinavian area. It shows old stories you May Have heard a few Times in your childhood and that ending Song Is one i Have heard an sang at least a fifty Times but now it is etheral and in swedish.
Btw: at least in our version in Finland it Tells about The spring and how It is thanks to god.

I think these sorts of quick clips interspersed in your videos could really pull their weight. A simple animation that emphasizes the humour of the gameplay, showing up to introduce a chapter of clips, or just something funny that came up in conversation.
I see a lot in leaning into the simple visual side. You and the community have created such a goofy character, and it’d be a lot of fun to see him more involved in your content, especially in these short sweet and goofy ways.
