This is easily a Top-10 NES game as far as graphics and music are concerned - the game looks and sounds AMAZING.
This game's soundtrack is so good; the sprite work is nice too.
Underrated gem by sunsoft, it's a fair top down platforms really and the music slaps, sunsofts chiptune is the next best thing to konami's VRC6

A good way to play for the holidays
Played this game as a kid. Couldn’t beat it until I’d got Game Genie. The game is short & took me 45 minutes to beat it.
the boss music is also pretty Damn awesome!

sunsoft killed it back in the day Blaster Master Batman return of Joker Batman and Batman return of Joker was borderline 16-bit Fester's Questwhich to this day still has the best Boss music ever not to mention the soundtracks to these games and none of them were easy

@@edwardgaines6561 oh yeah and they did Journey to silIus Spy Hunter Super Spy Hunter xenophobe Freedom Force thay did some bad games too like platoon the original Spy Hunter but that can be considered a classic so and yes Mr gimmick was very good too I forgot about that one

Machinegun gremlin apparently only knows how to aim his gun in a single direction.

Level 4 boss fight is annoying as heck because you also had to watch out where you were stepping at.

So sorry I didn't subscribe to your channel much sooner. This is impressive. Do you seek and own your own game library to play these, or do you borrow them? As a kid, this was a great game, but being 8 at the time, this was an unforgivably hard game.

Come on bro, did you even watch the 2nd movie religiously like we were obligated to at age 8?? That's 100% Mohawk in 3 out of 4 fights and most definitely the Spider...if you saw the movie even once. I forgot you faced him 3 times overall. This game was hell at 8 years old. Actually almost all NES games were because the biggest enemy was hardware limitations; more specifically pits. You had zero room for error in making a jump, and this includes Castlevania, Ninja Gaiden (oh good lord), this game, Dick Tracy, Tiny Toons...I could go on and on. If you know, you know.
