Fun fact: Gizmo was supposed to be the main bad guy of Gremlins (1984), but Steven Spielberg (the executive producer of "Gremlins") said that Gizmo was too cute to be evil and that the audiences wanted him to stay alive throughout the whole movie. So that is why we got Stripe as the main bad guy in that movie. True story.
I like the fact that there was more variety with the Gremlins in the 2nd movie and using genetic material to do was a good way to come about it. If this had been in the 50 or 60s... it would have been radiation or meteorites lol

It's a complete spoof upon itself intentionally done that way by the creator. All of this was said by him in a doc i watched years ago. He said he just kept pushing the crazy as far as he could.
Well there is a animated prequel series that’ll take place before the events of the movie, and it’ll take place in the 1920’s in which we focus on a very young Mr. Wing when he first discovered Gizmo when he was a kid. I hope it comes out and not be canceled because of the state of animation that’s been going on with WB lately.

The actor outlive my great grandfather by a few years I think. If the character is as old as the actor then he would have to be at least 15 in 1920. I have no idea what being a teenager was like in the 1920's.

The Brain Gremlin is my favorite gremlin, he’s smarter & much more civilized than the other gremlins, but I prefer Gizmo, he’s a good little mogwai. Genetic sunblock is just what Gizmo needs to be immune to bright lights, especially sunlight.

Out of all the videos you made, this is definitely one of my favorites. One video I would like to see is the evolution of Sailor Moon and the Sailor Senshin. Another would be the evolution of Tommy Oliver from Power Rangers.
There seem to be alpha Gremlins/Mogwais, those which have mohawks, who are typically smarter and more aggressive than the much more typical beta Gremlins/Mogwais. The offspring seem to vary in aggressiveness and appearance depending on whether they're born from alpha Gremlins or beta Gremlins. This is based on all of Stripe's offspring looking the same and being more aggressive than those in the sequel, who are born from George, Lenny, and Daffy, who are less aggressive, and all of which have 3 different looks.

The "Do not feed them after midnight" rule never made sense to me.

I was surprised about gremlins because I thought there wouldn't be much styles for then, but you made it work.
