Tempest is now on the 3DO!

- Despite the 1981 classic arcade game, Tempest being ported to many different consoles along with direct sequels over the years (including some by Jeff Minter) it never made it to the 3DO! Luckily for us, we live in a time of awesome homebrew. Tempest for the 3DO is fully featured and playable on real hardware (including ODE’s). It’s also playable in the emulators Phoenix and Opera.

Very cool. I didn't know you could jump in the game. I have Tempest 2000 on the Sega Saturn.
He's updated it since you've filmed and added mouse support! Very fun homebrew
That's awesome to see. There's a new attack as well. But typical it would be updated right after I cover it haha
This is so cool. I got the jaguar version but I'll put it on my 3DO too
Great news, I'll make sure to give it a shot.
Seeing you hover on release by date on the moby page and not clicking on it while wondering where you can see all the releases. So annoying lol. I wanted to yell, THERE! STOP! IT'S THERE! :)
I don't remember the details of the original Arcade version, was there the ability to jump back? On the Atari ST version there is no such ability. I like what I see here for this version, though I was never a fan of the game.
I don't think I ever played the Jeff's games, as I said not a fan of the game.
Regardless, it does look like a cool game and well done to the developer.
Thank you for sharing.
Yes, I noticed it that too while editing. Feels obvious in hindsight lol
Dunno why I feel like saying "TempDO" or "3Dest" ...
It's just "fixel". Like "pixel". The L in the name on X I believe is just because @fixel wasn't available.
Ha, sounds about right
