Wise words, I just subscribed, thank you. I am doing little things all the time. My Mr. Is always telling me when I say I didn’t get much done, he starts listing the things I did do…. He is my best cheerleader. And that is probably why I love him so!! I feel like we are still newlyweds of 38 years..
Back in October I quit drinking soda and cut back on the processed sugar I was eating. Other than that, I have changed nothing else. I find that I am eating less over all because I am not suffering the sugar crashes that I used to get that drove me to eat sweets
My one thing was going to the gym today. I'm on day 12. This year my word is consistency. I have to prioritize myself and show up for myself. Just reminding myself that going to the gym is a lifestyle, a way to show up for myself, to be healthy and not a way to ONLY lose weight I was able to push through and do my hour.
Loved this! It's similar to the book The One Thing, which is all about prioritizing, to cut through the chaos. Break things down into steps, then ask yourself, what is the one thing I can do RIGHT NOW to get me closer to my goal. If you need to make an important phone call, but it's Sunday night, that won't work. Don't be discouraged, choose another thing. That book took me from 30 years of dreaming about my business, to actually starting my business, in 1 year. ❤
I’ve used the power of one with decluttering, and it has been amazing. I need to expand that method to other areas. Thank you for the encouragement to do this. I need to do that with health changes. While listening to your videos, I got rid of one thing. I give away or throw away one thing a day. Often, I get rid of many more things, but I allow myself to feel good about one thing. I think giving yourself credit for one thing is powerful when it is consistent. The one thing I am going to do is not having sugar, honey, or maple syrup along with no unsweetened cocoa or any chocolate. I need to lose weight and not eat anything chocolate for my esophagus issue. Those things are my major stumbling blocks.
Awesome video, Kristi. This is the message I needed today as I sit here with a neck injury and worrying about all the things I’m not getting done. I will do what I can and work on healing my body. Thanks!
This video is right on time! I'm writing a novel. My one thing is writing everyday for 30 minutes to an hour. My goal is 800 words a day. When I write I focus on just writing and nothing else. No distractions. It's hard! 😂 But so far I'm doing okay.
1 love the 1% improvement concept! Now I’ll go dust and vacuum the basement gym, and use it for a few minutes. “I work out every day, and I vary the times and amounts so that it works for me.”
Powerful message! Currently going through perimenopause and feeling like a lead balloon. Giving myself grace when I feel like I’m functioning at 5%, I will keep showing up and try one day at a time 💖
Just found you & your video resonated! I'm prone to depression and all or nothing thinking. This video got me out of bead & vacuuming the bedrooms. Goal is an entire clean house.
I love this. This is like the how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. You are speaking exactly how I feel. It gets sooo overwhelming and my husband doesn't understand. So, today I will sweep and mop my office. Thank you for this. Be blessed!!!💙
Thank you for getting to the point. You give great advice quickly. My goal today is to clean my basement, but I have been saying that for the last couple weeks.😂 Wish me luck!!
What she’s saying is don’t overwhelm yourself or you will not follow through. Do one section at a time and then congratulate yourself for that accomplishment. Do another section another day .
I reorganised and SCRUBBED my bathroom like a new pin (this is one of my worst jobs, because my family members really mess up the bathroom)and I know it won't last, but just for this evening I'm enjoying a long soak in my shiny bathroom 🤩
My struggle is breaking it down - so I want to be more consistent on UA-cam I have scheduled all community posts for example but I want to post two times a week where do I start ?

Taking this recommendation! ❤
Finally, someone who gets it!
Breaking my goals into singular steps has been a game changer for me.
Thanks. This is what I needed. If I can’t give 100% I normally give in. No more 😊
