such a shame about never! jessa is a top author for me and peter pan is my favourite film so i was so excited for it😭 think i’m gonna have to give it a go anyway and set myself up for disappointment
sameee, i love the peter pan story, even though peter can be a bit annoying 😂 but a story like never should have given him some character growth and not make him even worse 😭 or she should have explored the depths of his flaws some more. i would advise you to not buy an expensive copy of this book as you will probably want to throw it at a wall while reading 😅 and read some goodreads reviews so you truly know what you can expect.
i didn’t hear any review before reading ‘never’ but after finishing it and rating it on goodreads i noticed that i was not the only one being VERY disappointed by this one. i still recommend the magnolia parks books, the setting fits jessa’s writing style better! 🤭 and thank you sm!! 💜
yeah, i definitely still recommend the magnolia parks series. it’s also pretty toxic but in a more understandable way and the characters feel very realistically flawed, which i enjoyed. ☺️🤎
i’m sure your mood will tell you when to pick it up. so if you’re ever craving a high-society story with a lot of drama and emotions, you know where to find it 😄
I like see your review of Icebreaker, because I was intriguing because I don't see you with that book hahah don't worry, usually you learn how to read spicy scenes with straight face 🤭. I always think you need to find the book, I like you find a good one book who balance plot + spicy, also they put a good communication and mental health, sometimes people only promote a books for the spice + cute cover, but is really more in it. The challenge, I need to make that challenge more usual because I need read more and find it no worry about work and overthinking. So sad hear that of 'Never' because is true your anticipated and also know it from you of that novel and you anticipated, too bad know that.
yeah it has definitely gotten easier reading it with a straight face throughout icebreaker. 😂 and yes, if it’s as balanced as it was in this book, i would definitely be open to trying more spicy books! 🌶️😄
and it’s alright that ‘never’ didn’t meet any of my standards for a good or even decent story 😅 i got over it pretty quickly, though i still find it wild that i can love one story by an author and then completely hate another. 👀
Love this so much! 🧡 It’s such a fun challenge, and I definitely want to try it out for myself whenever I get the time! 🙌
so happy you enjoyed it 🧡 it really was a lot of fun. if you end up trying this challenge, i’d love to know how it went for you! 🌞

usually i’d be like “just because i didn’t like it doesn’t mean you won’t either“ but with this one i just don’t think it’s only subjectively bad 😭
@@onlywildthoughts hahaha ill keep that in mind! maybe ill stick to the kindle version if its cheap enough
Lovely video, as always!!🩷🥰😘
thank youuu 🥹🩷
i've only heard of people not even finished ''never'', very sad to hear you hated it. :( I've not read anything of jessa. i loved this video!!

I thought Never would be amazing, but it seems like it's not it. I haven't read the Magnolia Park series, do you recommend?

@@onlywildthoughts I have gone back and forth on reading the series. But I'm definitely interested
