I own this amp, its probably the most dynamic amp I've heard. I cant recommend using this in low impedance mode, it has a massive bass roll off and sounds thin. As soon as its on medium impedance then you have bass as it should be but its nothing boosted at all like you might expect on other tube amps. Its certainly very detailed and has a sparkly nature to it. I use this with Focal Clears on Medium and HD660s2 on High impedance. This really brings any Senn to life. Its hits harder that usual. I dont find this amp to be overly smooth at all.
