After my friend and I get our kids to school we take a short walk. Even if the distance isn’t far I feel satisfied because i start the day with a good amount of steps!
I love all these self-care tips! My morning routine includes waking by 7am, drinking water, reading non-fiction/journaling, breakfast with tea, sweep the floor. Night time, i enjoy reading fiction as well. My current goal is to challenge myself to appreciate things that I didnt used to like/try e.g. tomatoes, eggplants, squid >.
my typical morning non negotiables is drinking a bottle of water, breakfast and tea/coffee, get ready (i dont workout of the house so even if i stay in pajamas at least hair up, hygiene etc.) night non negotiables tea, tidy bedroom, fill up water bottles for the next morning, watch yt, read werewolf romance lol
Journaling seems such a life-changing habit but it has never stuck to me. How did you implement it? :) I always try to do guided meditation for at least 5 minutes in the morning and listen to positive affirmations before going to sleep.
yes this is a great tip! pairing a new habit with something you already do consistently is an easy way to remember to fit it in your schedule! For me, I paired journaling with drinking my coffee and reading my Bible--it just added 5 more minutes into my routine!
I always light my prayer candle, get some berries and milk and journaling plus a big cup of lemon water with ice! I light my candles (scented ones) like, write my prayer and thanksgiving app and talk to God and share by secrets and thoughts to my Bigdady Jesus! Best wishes /Malin from Sweden!
I love reading fiction since I was a kid and I feel the same way as you about it! It simply is harder to fall asleep and to have a good and productive day the next day if I've been watching a screen right before going to sleep. And I've also read the Birdgerton series this summer :)!! In the video you mentioned that you would link your Goodreads account, but I can't find it. I would like to rummage in what you're reading/ have read!

The absolute truth!
meditating every night even for just 5 minutes really helps me clear my mind and encourage my body to rest for sleep
ooo that sounds so relaxing

I would suggest doing it right before or right after the meditation you have got into the habit of doing each morning already! ❤️
