Got leaks on my 89 two door XJ.
Great vid! Gonna try it on my Jeep.
Thanks for uploading! I'll be doing this tomorrow most likely. Gotta fix all my leaks so I can do floor pans.
Glad you have a use for the video, I also uploaded my floor repairs.
Do you have a link to the replacement clips?

Thank you! Going to be doing this tomorrow!
Got a leak on my 85 Xj thanks for the video, good call on not buying the silicone caulk. Previous owner of mine did that and it made it worse, exactly what you said happen now I have small puddles on water.. 🤣.
Did you have any issues removing the clips? I'm having a lot of trouble getting them out.
Clear any old sealant and slide to the side. My sealant was so worn it was pretty easy. Use a pair of needle nose pliers.
I'm starting to think the windshield on my comanche isn't for a comanche because it is a Carlite.
Why didn’t you use soapy water and compressed air after you were done to verify that it’s fully sealed?
I wanted to let the sealant to cure, and you are correct I should have done exactly that.
Big Jeeper's Garage did it seal correctly? Usually the windshield guys use a primer on their urethane adhesive/sealant.
Where do you get more of the clips from??

There is a very good chance there is both rust and contamination the leak will continue. It may take a while but I can almost guarantee it will not fix the problem.
a year and a half later still holding .... I'd say it was worth it
Do not use silicone. Use urethane
