serious question. i have 4c hair and my scalp hurts really easy. the ends get easily tangled. like just touch water and they feel like dreads. just the ends tho. from the roots to like 6 inches is completely fine but the ends just make everything difficult. should i relax the ends?

Yeah the breakage and shedding your hair does naturally but you don’t see it until you take out your braids since they were stuck in the protective style
With hair that’s curly or super curly it doesn’t need to be secured at the ends 😂 that’s only for straighter hair. You can use tiny rubbers or dip the ends in hot water maybe
Imma jump in the comments and ask....im a british caucasion large built male and have always loved cornrows..i have tried 'viking/dutch' braids and they dont last as long....I was told to wear a durag when sweating and am worried about the looks ill get in the gym wearing a durag...
