I agree. Catherine did her best to raise her children and work simultanously. M couldn't get past 80 royal events! And most of those were higher up events.
Tbh I call her and hubby the Duke and Duchess of Slothfulness.

@@maearcher4721 Catherine (and William too) focus on family shows in their children. They both seem very tuned in to the needs of their children. Catherine seems to understand childhood development generally. Not sure about William as I haven't seen him with many children. Except for that photo of him with the baby in Singapore. That baby is too young to know how to fake an expression. William looked equally thrilled to meet the baby.
I admire and respect their focus on their family. They set an example worthy of following.
It's upsetting when Catherine and other mothers are criticized for prioritizing their children. As someone whose own parents were distant, and showed little interest in their children (beyond insuring we had food and clothes), I live the effects of neglectful, selfish parents every day. If Catherine and William came out and said we are going to exclusively focus on our children and family, I would still admire and respect them.
Well adjusted, happy children grow into well adjusted happy adults. That is essential to society.
And what happened to women supporting women whatever choices they make?

It's said William called Catherine DoD aka Duchess of Dolittle as joke. That was surely known in the family.

The name calling aimed at Princess Catherine really bothers me. It screams of "BULLYING" and personally, as someone who was bullied as a child I find that so wrong. Bullies are cowards, they're weak and they're the worst sort of people we got in society. The "keen" name is an example of bullying, and even on paper it's bullying. Harry should feel ashamed that he's letting someone who he referred to as "a sister" in past comments be bullied by Meghan and Omid. He's as guilty as them of bullying if he doesn't publicly tell them to stop it...
As well as the level of online hate directed at the RF, particularly Catherine, it's nasty & disgusting

Catherine was bullied very badly as a child, so she would be the last person to bully anybody. Scabies is a horrible, nasty liar. Several royal reporters say they have never heard of anyone calling Catherine Katy Keen. She's a character from Archie, so this has Rachel's claws all over it 🤬
H is a bully as well. Look at the way he treated his dying grandfather and grieving grandmother. Look how he treats his sad-hearted father - H just keeps the punches coming. He's a nasty piece of work.
MM is a bully, she bullied staff, she easily bullies Harry, he has gone from prince to personal assistant for MM!! A big drop in status!! I have no idea how badly she treated the poor Queen.... its a good thing they left, they caused the Queen enough pain and upset from afar, imagine how much the poor Queen would have had to deal with if they were still right on her doorstep!!!
And don't forget that Catherine had three very difficult pregnancies, where she even had to be hospitalized on several occasions. Yet there she was out continuing to fulfill her engagements while pregnant!!!! I admire Catherine a great deal!!!!

Absolutely! Periodic morning sickness is one thing, but hyperemesis gravidarum is a whole different disorder. I would have only had the one child, lol. Princess Catherine is a trooper to get through it three times! (I have the impression that she may have wanted to do it a fourth time....)

I don't understand why other people have a problem when someone is reserved and private.
Not everyone is into sharing every detail or thought. Not everyone is effusive and gushing.
People who share everything, hug everyone, gush over everything exhaust me. They are way too loud for me.

Exactly! Not to mention keeping quiet and just being polite even if not extremely friendly means no one can point to anything you've done as cruel or wrong. Which is why Meg has to make stuff up about how she was treated! If she told the truth and said they were unfailingly polite but didn't immediately jump into a deep relationship very quickly like I wanted them too, she would have been laughed at 😂 to Meg, wanting to take a relationship slow and let it build naturally, that **feels** like rejection. Everyone says shes a narcissist and maybe so. But I believe she has a personality disorder on the same spectrum but a little different, borderline personality disorder. She either absolutely loves you and after the tiniest thing she hates you and you're evil. The most smallest of innocent things she takes as a personal rejection and attack.
She won't change because I don't believe she is capable of it. Think about how difficult it is to make even the smallest lifestyle changes permanent. Such as eating healthier or exercising more. That's so difficult, and take such a huge amount of time energy effort and self discipline that the vast majority (something like 90%) are back to their old ways by 3 months. The vast majority of people fail their new years resolution and have given up on them by March. So to make HUGE personality and moral changes that she would have to make to be a good person, that would take a MASSIVE amount of dedication, self discipline time and effort, and literally changing the chemistry in your brain by seeing a psychiatrist and going through intensive therapy. And even then it would still most likely fail. That's why I don't believe people can fundamentally change who they are. Especially when it comes to core parts of your personality especially especially when you're after 30. After that your brain just isn't as elastic anymore. Your personality is basically set in stone.
That's also part of the mystery. Unlike the couple who think it is a requirement for the public to know everything about their miserable life.
To be a mom is a very demanding work, even more since Princess Catherine is raising a future KING!
Remember Megain's mother is supposed to be a mental health professional but she NEVER traveled to visit her daughter🤔
Catherine's pregnancies were very rough. Really bad morning, afternoon, etc sickness. She said she found labor to be easier than the frequent vomiting. Aside from that making her less likely to socialize, surely she didn't want to hang around the woman who obviously coveted her husband. In my opinion

She was so ill that she was hospitalised.
I wonder if she would have liked more because she seems to really enjoy children, but getting so sick with each pregnancy made 4 or more not such a good idea for her health.

@@mrsterious5845 very true and I think their idea of “modernising “ the monarchy was so that they (H&M ) didn’t have to follow the traditions of good manners and hierarchy. M really was affronted at having to curtsy to more senior royals and wanted equal billing and status as William and Catherine. In my opinion that’s why they left because she couldn’t learn the skills , wasn’t interested in the tradition and history or understand the meaning of service. She wanted the banquets and adoration but not the day to day graft of working on behalf of ordinary people and charities. That wasn’t high profile enough or glamorous enough for her.

@@mrsterious5845 what's funny about that is that every family has their own set of rules and limitations. Like in my family, we are also not supposed to wear black unless during funerals or wakes, and we also have to behave in a certain way as to not embarrass the older members of our family. The only difference is that our families don't get the privileges of the royals. To think, Harry tried to spin this as if its only his family who has to go through these.

Katie keen is like Teacher's pet. When you're smart, work hard, and get compliments, those that don't want to do the same give you names, as they are jealous of your accomplishments. They could achieve the same if they tried, but they'd rather throw out names to gain allies of hate towards you.

We know one that claims she kept a collection of Archie comics, This One’s Wife.
Katie Keene is also a character in the Archie comics, which happens to be Meghan’s favorite comic. So me thinks Katie Keene is a nickname the Meg calls Catherine. Meg overshared many things with a good amount of lies and embellishments that it is easily debunked because she can’t keep her stories straight.
Meg’s contribution is all over this book, be it directly from her mouth or by proxy through mutuals.

The Princess of Wales offers opinions about limited issues like children and mental health needs. However, what she expresses in opinions is to offer help and solutions to these issues. The Princess of Wales is not offering critical opinions but offering support.
And those are clearly not divisive issues.
Catherine has practical experience in both those issues that give her more authority and clout on them. She also does not go solo, rather includes working teams, introduces specialist experts and hubs of recipients who benefit the most. She executes her passion projects from an educated perspective and a long-term angle. It's clear that she's not doing these for brownie points, pats on the back, or awards for herself, but rather to generate a nation of well-rounded achievers of parents/carers and children.
I’m British, may I say that was one of the best informative vlogs I have seen. I wish more people would understand the difference between Royalty and Celebrity. Personally I love the fact that our monarchy as our heads of state are apolitical. It makes for continuity rather than an elected one which half the voters would disagree with. Your videos are the opposite of rambling or too long . Thank you!
Some Americans seem to view the British royals as hereditary celebrities. When I was younger I thought so too and wondered, what do they do?
I know better now and while I wouldn't want one in the US, I appreciate its role and importance. And I respect and admire individuals within the monarchy. I only recently learned more about Anne and she's definitely one of my favorites. Although I will never be royal her no nonsense, no drama attitude is one worth learning from.

MM's 'hit the ground running' is one of the most irritating ways of approaching doing a good job. IMO it shows lack of regard of what you need to do to be successful - as she showed within 2 years.

Isn’t Katie keen one of the characters in mm’s favourite comic Archie, I don’t think it was sold in the UK, it’s another indication she was involved in writing this book, a lot of the stuff he put in it was reported as far back as 50 years ago, I thought he was touting the book as being about the RF fight for survival, so I don’t understand why he has included all the old stuff, the author is coming across as petty, jealous, bitter and vicious, it’s all his opinions without any evidence, he could have named the names without fear of a libel suit if the information was true.

I've only read the early release excerpts and if they are representative of the remaining content, the book fails to deliver on showing the monarchy fighting for survival.
The monarchy has faced real threats in the past. Normal family tensions, individual idiosyncrasies aren't threats.
I rarely comment Beebs, but this was a truly masterful dissection of this work of fiction.

As an American I can say, I am a great admirer of Catherine. She does her role impeccably. She is a great role model for women and girls. She shows you can dress modestly and professionally and still be incredibly beautiful.

Having adults around who are invested in children and respond properly to the needs of the individual child is absolutely essential for individuals and society. My own parents displayed little interest in their children. They were ill suited to parenthood. I live with the effects every day.

Don't forget that Princess Catherine was also struggling with extreme morning sickness during each of her pregnancies. At times she was so ill she was hospitalized for treatment. She also tried to carry-on her royal engagements as best she could. I don't see how anyone could call her lazy after all that. The duo in Montecito admit to working 1hour a week and think they are working too hard.

As of today I’m reassured by knowing that the sales of this ridiculous book reflect how “not seriously” most people are taking Omid’s opinions. I hope Catherine is able to dismiss this nonsense and continue doing what she does. She is NOT lazy, and she works regularly and hard for the RF. Meghan, on the other hand, managed only 72 engagements in two years. I don’t believe any of his assertions about the RF.

Everything he says about Catherine has been seen to be true about meghan. Honestly, it's just so childish. Meghan's emotional maturity level never went past age 15. Same as harry.
I would say Harry's emotional maturity is even younger. Maybe twelve.
Harry said he was 'ashamed' to tell anyone in the RF about Meghan's 'mental health struggles'. So HOW would Princess Catherine know about them?? These two have now been uninvited to a huge wedding in June (they were not invited, they did not suddenly RSVP No we can't come) - probably because of Scooby's book - so good job Scooby. I am sure that bride would never want Meghan at her wedding. Look at what M did at Eugenie's wedding. I cannot wait for the announcement from WME ending their partnership with Meghan. I just don't see how they can market her. She is just too unlikable.
Eventually, no one will have anything to do with them. Their money will be gone and they will have to get joe jobs, if they even can. I won't take delight when they hit rock bottom like that; I'm not that person. But I won't be surprised, either.
We also have to remember Catherine was really ill with each pregnancy.
The Queen and Charles both wanted Catherine and William to concentrate on their family while the children were young hence William leaving the military went on to fly air ambulance.
Also with Catherine's main charitable work being early childcare having 3 children and a hands on mum, no one can say she knows nothing of child rearing.
You must also Adelaide Cottage has just 4 bedrooms no staff quarters, yes they do have staff to babysit when needed ( official engagements) but the rest of the time it is just the 2 of them looking after their children.
It is illogical what Scobie says about Catherine, we see her doing so much, Salisbury Plain with the army, yacht racing with all female teams, tennis with Federer at Wimbledon she is more an action girl than a stepford wife, when visiting children always appropriately dressed, no thousands in jewellery and she gets down with them. On the other hand she looks stunning at the state banquets and the dressier side of her duties, also when given the cost of her clothes they are not so expensive as to be totally out of the pocket of the rest of us, if I needed something really very special, a lot of her stuff is in the ballpark of obtainable. The other thing she does is re-wear her clothes, sometimes with minor alterations, she has even been known to hire an outfit.
It is obvious that Scobie is attacking Catherine to please Meghan, because Catherine is everything that Meghan is not, she works hard, hands on mum, looks great in everything she wears and her public speaking is getting better, she does not need to be the center of attention, if she is working it's to shine the spotlight on the cause not herself, she does not need self publicity or match up and down car parks so a pap photographer can get a photo.

I dunno about kids doing better with at home moms. My prof went over this and the conclusion was that the single most important factor for a child’s well being was a warm mother. She could be a working mother or an at home mother, but warm was the critical part. Assuming all other factors were equal, ie not a drug addict. A content mother aligned with a warm mother. So if she was an at home mom with career drive she might not be so content and warm toward her child. Some kids, those with the mothers with issues, were better off with full time day care, and after school daycare. I think Catherine is the kind of woman with a strong drive to be at home with her kids, and if she can do more of that, the happier she will be, making her a healthier mom. Making healthier kids.

In BC schools closed from March 18, and reopened in classroom June 1, so closed about 2 months. Our kids didn’t lose too much learning or socialization time. Our head Doc planned it that way, she knew if kids missed a year they wouldn’t recover it and would always be behind. We had a lot of nursing home deaths, very sad.
And the percentage of sudden infant deaths went DOWN significantly, due to new mothers delaying early doc visits and therefore delaying far too early given vx.
Look up the list of vx for children in the USA, it is at least 3x any other English speaking country.
My mother was stay at home for the first 8 or 9 years of my life. She eventually went back to school and then worked outside the home.
At no time was she warm or aligned. If she wasn't a narcissist, she had strong narcissistic traits.

This is a good point. My mother worked my whole life but it was what fulfilled her and made her better able to care for me with warmth and love. If she had stayed home against her wishes, I’m sure she would have felt resentment and would have struggled more in her parenting of me. Interestingly, I stay home with my kids and I know I’m so much happier being a stay at home mom instead of working (and so thankful I’m able to do that). And I’m a better mom that way. So yeah. If mom’s happy, everyone’s happy lol.
Edited to add: I have a good friend who did not like staying home with her kids - it was too stressful for her. So she went back to work and her husband chose to stay home with the kids, which he was very happy to do. Their family thrived under this arrangement 😊
Katie Keen was a character in the American Archie comic book that Meghan was a big fan of. Hardly anyone else knows about this name, even for an American. I used to read Archi comics, but I didn't even know that name.

I read somewhere that the Wales' fly commercial when it's a non working trip, because the expense is out of THEIR personal pockets. When they fly private, it has to be a special circumstance when commercial is not possible. It has to do with spending the people's money wisely as everything is submitted, documented and budgeted.

I think it's incredible how Catherine has weathered these vile lies from Meghan (and her lapdog Scobie) and has come out even more popular than before. People seemingly naturally feel that this gossip doesn't align with her character & demeanor and therefore feel for her.... And thus she has received tremendous support across the board: on her engagements and online (not including the standard Sugar attacks). (PS: Just for reference: I'm from mainland Europe and here the Scobie book/allegations haven't been reported at all, no media coverage at all... So, as for 'worldwide media attention ': not exactly true, outside of the UK, no one really has registered the smears in this book... Everyone thinking: "Been there, done that, 3 years ago."
So Catherine is timid and cold,according to what's his name. I find this hard to believe because she always looks and acts like she is enjoying what she is doing. So while Catherine she doing to help and encourage children and mother's to get help if they need it, help with early childhood or mental health issues. I think TOW wrote this book and manipulated Scobi to front it, much like “his” previous book. The majority of people don’t believe the accusations. That’s all this is, malicious slander. It sounds to me likes TOW’s voice; sadly, there are too many examples of her voice.

The "Katie Keene" nickname is DIRECTLY from the other one's wife. She talked in her podcast (I think, or it was an interview) about how much she loved the comic strip "Archie" as a kid. And she makes fun of the Katie Keen character from that comic on air! She talks about how she's more like a different female character from the comic, not the "goody-two-shoes" Katie character who's portrayed as an eager, ass-kissing goody-goody. 😡😡

I appreciate you making that timeline so clear. For Omid to suggest that Catherine is somehow responsible for MM's mental health is absurd. MM was clearly not receptive to any suggestions from the Wales' and her own husband has a therapist on speed dial when his necklace gets broken, but can't possibly get any help for his suicidal wife. In the few pictures that exist of Megalomania holding one of her babies, she looks as if she's about to drop it. Maybe that's why there are virtually no photos of those kids--she has no interest in learning how to hold a child.
I would also point out - the Meg is OLDER than all of them. You would expect that this older "self made professional woman who had a career of her own" would either have it together a little better OR be somewhat unwilling to take advice from those younger (and given everything we know about Markle, can you imagine if Catherine approached her to say something along the lines of "looks like you need a hand, what can I do to help" - it is an extremely safe bet that it would have been misconstrued - Catherine can't even keep lip gloss without it being seen as a slight against the Meg.
It is well known Scabies was desperate to be a part of the Royal Rota and he was denied (not only by journalists, but by Prince William himself). Why? Bc of the tabloid hack that he is. Well analysed thank you. Harry in the OW show said that when Megs had mental health problems he was ashamed to tell the family. He also said he didnt know what to do. But when he allegedly said W broke his necklace he immediately contact his shrink who he had on speed dial. These 2 are compulsive liars and drama addicts. They have multiple versions of the same incidents. Meg was an independent adult before she married into the RF and she had a practitioners managing her pregnancy why couldnt she consult her OBGYN. They are exhausting with out dated behaviour in this day and age. IMO

There was also a comic book series popular in the 50s called Katy Keene a character created by cartoonist Bill Woggon, and published by Archie Comics. She is a model/actress/singer marketed by the publisher as "America's Queen of Pin-Ups and Fashions."
I live in Canada but because we’re part of the commonwealth I have always considered the monarchy as part of us. What I’ve always admired about them is their PR work. That they live their lives to the best of their abilities setting a respectful manner that is so admirable. They truly show how they care about people in difficult times.
I’m heartsick that they are being verbally attacked. On a much, much smaller scale I was involved in a public job. Because we were making great strides in our endeavor I was persecuted. To the point where I couldn’t take it mentally. I quit 😢. So I truly worry for Princess Katherine having have this happen. As I also worry for all the royals who are being unfairly targeted.

Scobie was extremely misogynistic in his comments about the Princess of Wales and the Queen. When he implied that Catherine just went on engagements and smiled, he showed his true colours and that if his handlers. When Catherine is out taking part in rugby practice, abseiling, playing hockey, cricket, tennis, spin class (in skirt and heels) etc. Yeah, she just goes out to smile.

I think we do know some of the Wales’ opinions by the choices they make in their patronages and the work of The Royal Foundation. And they keep their at it throughout the year by being visible and putting their words into action, indicating they mean what little they say and they are about the work, not about getting attention or pats on the back for themselves.
