- tucked away inside the dashboard of your default menu are a range of additional menus to help you set things up or just keep track of mileages or mpg etc. From here you check on the remaining life of your engines oil in percentage and you can also reset it through the menu with use of the "Set/CLR" button on the same stalk
Hidden below the dashboard where your feet are, are 3 hidden pedals.. clutch/brake/accelerator. Amazing!

How do I get it where it shows your speed on that menu bit?
On the left hand stalk there is a rotary control with an up and down arrow on it. Rotate this and you will get a choice of 3 menu's. One of them has the speed indication on it (along with distance left before needing to refuel and instant mpg)
My astra j 2010 has a camera in the front glass, near the mirror system.
I don't know where this camera is needed.
Can anyone tell me?
The car has also raining and light sensors for auto lights and wipers.

I recently bought an astra j 2010 and it does not show any of these and even after pressing menu it only shows "unit 1 and unit 2" Which basically changes the temp reading from F to C
think this is on the facelift astra j

I’ve got a 2013 model. Mine is different to this, but I have similar options using a combination of the menu but, up down arrows and the button on the end of the same stalk 👍🏻
I think it depends what model you have.

Because they are not immediately displayed unless you search for them, ergo hidden. Hidden until you display them, at which point your original menu then becomes hidden. They are not secret, they were always there, your owners manual even tells you about them

Don't think you know the meaning of hidden.
There is also a hidden feature on your smartphone... If you swipe down the screen from your homescreen.... Boom! You'll find toggles to turn your wifi on and off .... Impressive right?
