Ive seen a few things about all the different sounds around the parks particularly in Toon Lagoon, which I think is fun and unique.
I always thought everyone was joking about that! I thought is was a Dora The explorer reference😂😂. Thank you for sharing this information. My family and I have been to universal more than 50 times and I didn't know half this stuff existed!

That team member is awesome who announced pet peeves’ name! We encountered her twice during our trip last week and she was such a pleasure both times!! Saw her in Madame Malkins and Borgin and Bourkes!
Also, my husband, dad and I received Rubeus passes on our last night in the park because there were technical difficulties. I hope my dad who lives in Florida goes back to the park to use them before they expire!

I work at the park. Actually even if the pass does expire, you still get a certain grace period that you could use them. Hagrid’s will either directly replace the ruby pass or if it’s a bit longer than guest services will replace it. Can’t wait too long though, then it’s truly expired

I got 6 ruby passes once. We were 6 persons and when we arrived at the Park, there was a security barrier in our Park tickets and we had to wait around 30 minutes in the help line. The lady was super nice and gave us these passes for the troubles
My oldest got to name the hatchling raptor while we were there in March. She was so excited when they handed her the certificate.

FUN FACT: Dole Whip is also coming to grocery stores. Not sure how it will be compared to the one you can get while out, but definitely worth a try!

One thing I do know that not everyone knows about is in City Walk, behind the Hard Rock Cafe is a piece of the Berlin Wall. It was really neat to see it given the historical aspect of it.i remember watching when they started tearing down the wall.
We thought about including that here, but tried to stick more to experiences instead of just objects. It’s so cool, though!!

I think this was the first of The Pugh Two's videos I ever watched. It's fun to watch it now knowing so much more about you both than before. i got a ruby express for being stuck in the velocicoaster line during inclement weather at park close. it was kinda a good strategy, i was only in that line for like 20 mins and i used it on hagrid’s the next day
My wife and I discovered Knockturn alley by complete accident. I wondered down the alley way because I was looking for a cool place to relax since we were there for a while. I ended up walking in and disappearing into the darkness. My wife couldn't find me. I ended up emerging from the shadows and telling her "YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS!!!!!!"

We got something like this. The family behind us was very hyper and energetic so when we got to the end of the line the mom of the children told the worker to let us go again with no wait because we were patient with them. Best day of my life

Two things I wish I knew- my son got a Pygmy puff, but we had no idea about naming it! That is so cool.
And the height certificate!! my daughter, was about an inch shy of 48 inches and we had to do child swap for a few rides. Would have loved the certificate for the future. Great tips for next time ◡̈
We’ve heard they really only offer it if the kid is making a scene lol it makes sense to help smooth over the conversation, but I feel like they should offer them more frequently! They’re supposed to offer to do the naming ceremony when you check out, too!
The one time I was on Hagrid's when it had an issue during the ride and we got stuck for a bit, they just let us loop right back around after we got off and get back on again.

Had a bad experience with another guest in the queue for Hagrids and ended up with 8 of those passes between 2 of us! Obviously used them all on Hagrids and Velocicoaster! Also at the time we used them there was no express lane open for Velocicoaster so that was pretty cool that they let us on.

My favorite memory from going to universal when i was like 10 years old was watching the dinosaurs hatch and getting to name it. They even gave out a certificate with what you named it, It was amazing!

They used to do the Pygmy Puff adoption ceremony at Zonkos in Hogsmead until they got rid of Zonkos to expand Honeydukes.

Ruby SAPs are named Ruby because of Rubius and when Jurassic World Velocicoaster first opened they had Blue SAPs named for Blue.

We got the Sapphire pass (we thought it said Sapphire). We were waiting in line at Hagrid's and it delayed. We stayed on until they kicked us out and they gave us one. We came back later that day to ride it with the pass. It worked out so good because we were only there one day! Everyone in line were throwing daggers at us with their eyes, though. 😂
The Film set Pass V.I.P. is such a great idea! Universal is great with guests.

I was offered a ruby pass when i was in hagrid’s line and it closed for weather it slowly moved forward because at the front of the line there was an employee asking people if they want to stay and wait or leave and get a ruby pass.

Honestly didn't think the Hagrid express pass was unusual in 2 trips I got it 3 times. Yeah my luck was that bad, find dates I am going to a theme park and book around them. Best advice I give to friends and family.
We will put it this way, we have probably been to the parks and 150+ times since hagrids opened and we have never had them!
@@ThePughTwo we've been given an express pass for Hagrids, but it sadly wasn't the ruby! They gave out a bunch to people who were at the front of the que when Hagrids got weather delayed one day but it was basically on receipt paper, and it was only good for day of, if it came back up(which it did)
It basically had you go the same route as the disability pass, which makes me think that will eventually be the express route when it gets one,as usually the disability pass puts you into the express que.
Knew about all of these! Love all these gems they have. That playground is so massive!!! One hour there is equal to one day park walk there.

I got my first Pygmy puff on our last trip and asked for a naming ceremony. The lady who did mine sounded so dull and not excited that I thought she was joking at first.

We were making Dole Whip at Scandinavian Shave Ice on Hawaii island -- anyone can get the machine from DOLE and make it -- BUT ONLY at Dole Pineapple Plantation on Oahu Island (where it was ORIGINALLY sold) and in Disney Parks could it be called "Dole Whip." We had to call it "Pineapple Soft Serve." Same exact thing though. Surprised Universal was able to harness the name as well and Disney didn't freak out.
It shocked us Disney let that happen, too! Lol someone said they’re about to start selling a version of it in the freezer section of grocery stores, too. We love it!!
There is a highly specific area inside of JP Kid Zone -- me and a partner were inside of it for maybe 15 minutes, surrounded by kids who never found us. Shadows of groups of children were before our eyes, like we were in Platos Cave. Interesting to be somewhere in The Park, but to be hidden for so long.
I won't reveal the spot, but I will give the hint that we were inside of a structure.
JP Kid Zone is easily one of the best parts of the park as a whole, and one of the best themed areas in any park. I wish the entire park could be an experience like this.
As far as Dolewhip goes, its important IMO because it's probably one of the better frozen treat experiences a gluten/dairy free person can have.
That’s a great point about it being dairy free! We love camp Jurassic for the same reason, too. It’s like you’ve been transported somewhere different entirely!!
Omg so that's what it is! We ate at the restraunt and walked across the bridge to look at a turtle and heard it. I was like what the heck is this

The caves are so cool. I wandered around in there for like 30 minutes one day.

We have many Pygmy puffs 😄 actually one extra because we were buying it for a friend’s bday and taking a video of the naming and got one of the … less excited team members. So we went back later and got another with someone else! It really felt like an anomaly because so many of the wizarding world TMs are just amazing.
Haha we love the dedication!! I’d say it would probably be hard to do it with conviction the first few times or even if you were having a bad day. So glad you got a better one the second time though!!

I got the Ruby express pass when I visited in September 2021. Hagrid's broke down while I was riding for my first time. I then used the pass to ride again that afternoon, only for the ride to break down in the exact same spot lol. I received another pass, but wasn't able to use it because I had to go home. So I've only experienced Hagrid's twice, and both times I received a "rare" item lol
Oh no! They must’ve been having issues with it that day lol that’s usually how people end up getting Ruby’s. Crazy it happened twice in one day!
We watched the video, this morning, I've just spent an hour exploring camp Jurassic, didn't know it was there👍. Also got a yellow single use express pass for the first time today 😊

Yeah. Dole whip. If you e ever been to the enchanted tiki room, they tell you all about Dole Whip and the Dole company in the preshow outside waiting in the garden area. Been that way at Disneyland forever. It’s pretty much an info-mercial for the Dole company, but they do talk about Hawaiian history a bit, so it’s interesting.

Back in covid times when Hagrid's was just virtual lines, my phone wouldn't show wait times or let us use the virtual que. They gave us Ruby passes for it, but our trip was over. We specifically booked a trip the next year to use them. It was amazing!

I did not get a ruby pass, my pass was a plain white pass. They would not let me ride the Incredible Hulk so they gave me a pass to jump the line on Hagrid. I went in a special way and did not have to wait at all, it was fantastic.

I used a yellow single use fast pass to get on Hagrids last year! Don’t know if it was just the employees that day, but we got it when we got early park entry, ran to Hagrids and it broke down during our ride.

The winter, for sure!!
They actually had a version of the Ruby pass before. Previously they had a “sorry for the issue” express pass that wouldn’t work for Gringotts. I got one of the special passes that would work on Gringotts because there was a malfunction that wouldn’t release the safety bar after our ride on Gringotts was finished.

We went on Pteranodon Flyers in December before the meetup with our 3 year old and she was JUST tall enough. I didn’t know what to expect and on that first free turn she flopped sideways immediately and scared me! 🤣 she absolutely loved it though and when we watch y’all’s videos (which is basically daily) she asks to go back and ride the Dino coaster!
