They completely nailed the voice acting for both characters!
If anything, it just shows how good a voice actor Troy is, playing (voicing) someone who is much older than he is, and pulling it off magnificently.

This is so strange. I'm watching her talk and I feel like Ellie is doing a voice over over the actress's voice XD. I have connected this voice with Ellie so much that I can't imagine it being anyone else's.

and what recognition, hum? the guy is doing everything this year, from hardened guys with "strong" voices such as Joel and Booker to totally different stuff like the Joker...
The guy is incredible... every game his voice is different. I was stunned when I discovered he was the voice of Vincent in Catherine. totally different than Joel's voice... not only that he passes really well the mood of the character through his voice... the guy is extremely talented. Really deserves the recognition.

I`ll just go by the way he spoke, i deduce that he probably lived there till he was 9 then he moved, because indeed his Texan speech is pretty damn authentic, or maybe he`s just that good of a voice actor and can do many accents...either those or he probably just visits Texas from time to time..maybe some relatives there...
