Watching this interview, really goes to show how much love and care Yoshi P puts in his projects and i really respect him for it and because he really cares/ thinks about the fans when he creates his projects.
You know it’s a good interview when they struggle not to laugh at some of the sillier (read: refreshing) questions you ask. Also, the bluntness of that NO for some reason was really hard not to laugh to.
It seemed as though they genuinely enjoyed this interview. It would be awesome to see you get more opportunities like this, given how well it went. Congrats 👏
It was interesting to hear how much trust Minagawa-san puts in the concept art team. 18:17 To have him say the origin of the games art basically comes entirely from them (this was my interpretation) is a pretty big shoutout. I could see other art directors giving themselves a lot more credit.
I always get a little bummed out when directors/producers get all the credit. The men present obviously deserve a huge amount for their excellence(Yoshida is clearly a master at keeping everyone working at a unified vision), but they’re also backed by very talented devs.

5:08 the collector's edition has been in stock for weeks from Square-Enix, how else can they combat reselling? Gonna hope your question is what inspired the restock to happen
Just an honest question, normally in gaming, it is the game director being interviewed, I was wondering why is there no interview with FFXVI's game director?
To add to that, the low poly grape was discovered very, very quickly that it made the meme rounds. So much so that an update went out to try and fix it which then resulted to even more memes about saying goodbye to the low poly grapes.
Really? You didn't ask about accessibility options to toggle off blood/strong language? But you had time for grapes and other bland questions. I could've answered the one about collector's editions; what else could we expect besides a PR reply? C'mon man... I suppose it's possible you weren't allowed to ask my question for some reason, but who knows.
in a presentation, its pretty obvious though given the nature of the games storyline that removing those things which seriously impact its story plot progression
@Primalliquid92 Dead Space remake is miles ahead FF16 in dark themes, but even that game tried to find a way to accommodate players. So we can agree to disagree on whether it was obvious these features would be included based solely on the game's themes. If you don't mind answering, which presentation? I've scoured the internet trying to find an answer, although I admittedly haven't looked in a few weeks because I was waiting on your interview to address it.
the presentation given to people at this event, and considering you havnt played 16 yet im afraid you cant really say if something is "ahead" or not in dark themes, not to mention dead space is for atmosphere, ffxvi is for actual story reasons, so you cant compare the 2. since one just diminishes the grusome factor and the other diminishes the story itself

It's a Final Fantasy 14 meme that the grapes used a low poly model.
