If not mistaken, Telur Penyu/Turtle Eggs cannot be sale in Malaysia anymore even in Terengganu... Turtle is considered as endangered species/animals in Malaysia... 'Awak dr Korea Utara atau Korea Selatan?'...Chu, Malay people usually don't eat with a lot of sound like you slurrp that noodles..😊
I miss this market! The Laksa/laksam reminds me of my late mom who cooked it during Hari Raya. Btw, Mee Sup Perut from the East Coast (Pantai Timur) is one of the best meal ever! Senyum Sokmo Weh!

Now in Malaysia and other SEA countries are having local's tropical fruit season (rambutan, mangoesteen, dokong, langsat, etc) . I think you should made a review on it cause these local tropical fruits season only last for 1-2 months a year. These special local fruits are different from other tropical fruit (like banana, papaya, jambu, etc) which can be found all year round. They only bear fruits once a year and that's what make the SEA countries special cause they have a fruit season instead of snow😊

Hi chu, laksam is made from rice flour mix water and steam. It is kind of tteok(rice cake) in korean but laksam soft and not chewy though.
first kuih is 'gelembung buaya'.. second is 'buah tanjung' kelantan tarditional kuih taht cannot be found in other state

Ikan perkasam is Sour fish . It is delicious when fried and eate with rice, asam pedas ( tamarind spicy) .

Laksam in Kelantan is sweeter, they like their savoury food a bit sweeter😅. Laksam in Terengganu is fishy but just nice. Not too salty not too sweet.
Normally we served along with salt, chilies, and belacan, so we can alter it according to our needs.
