The Romanovs are lucky to have such a wonderful love. It is a shame everything turned out to be such a tragedy. They had a beautiful family. Rest In Peace. ❤️🌹❤️
Czar Nicholas seemed like a very thoughtful, sweet and romantic man ❤ I didn't realize how in love he & Alexandra really were (since love is not really high up on the list for royal marriages in this era). RIP Romanov's
He was a bloody Butcher. Everything from Bloody Sunday to Czarist Pogroms. Any wonder no allied country offered him nor his family political exile. Not even the British Royal family offered him exile.
Tragic story so wonderful they have never been forgotten. Their memories will last for all eternity .. Thank you for another wonderful post. Joanne NZ ❤
I also have a fascination for the Russian Royal Family, I don't know why,and love the music of some of those Russian composers,I am also from NZ, thank you for these wonderful documentaries.
2:47As Prince Michael comments about how very similar to the cousins were, then turns and looks at the camera, it's strikes me how much HE looks like them both
What a tragedy ! Not everyone is born to be a ruler even if they are born a king. It was not Tsar Nicholas's choice. He was too gentle for such a heavy task. Putin would have been a ruthless tsar. I feel sad for this family, thrust in history against their will.😢💔🙏🌹
That's why I feel awful. He didn't want it. He wanted his brother to take it and he willingly abdicated. He refused. And why would Nicholas think democracy would help? Any westernizing was seen as damage as his ancestors died when they tried to implement. Causation isn't correlation. But, you can't blame him, as someone religious and superstitious, not thinking it was directly due it.
Maybe it was Rasputin's curse, or the time has yet to arrive that Russian people will retract and then make s choice to run their own country by their own brand of representative democracy and may they ask the Romanov family to somehow return as a family "like Britain" that serves the people as the government should...andthe wealthy pay heavy taxes....
Thank you Romanov family also thanks to the documenter. It is in a way giving this unfortunate family the justice they deserve. Salute to Nicolas 2 and Alexandra Romanov. I will remember you and your children until I finish my own history.
For a long time all I knew about the Tsar and Empress were "bloody Nicky" and Rasputin. In the 80s or 90s A and E had a series called The Last Russian Tsar. It was far different then what I was taught . Years later I purchased a book on their love letters. This led me to read two more biographies. I became convinced they were saints. I can't remember when or how I learned the bodies had been discovered.i closely followed that story also. I read memoirs written by a female friend, I think Anna, and one of the tutors, I think his name wad Peter, who made it out alive and recorded his memoirs about his time with the family. I remain a devout Roman Catholic with a strong devotion to this family. They have proved to be strong intercessors especially Holy Royal Duchess Marie. I frequently ask her to intercede for one of my daughters each time she responds quickly. I also read a biography of Grand Duchess Olga, the Tsars sister, who escaped and migrated to Canada. She died in poverty. In Canada. I ordered your book The Holy Martyrs. I highly recommend the book . A dream of mine is to make a pilgrimage to The Church on the Blood.
@@wendyqallab6906 I understand it was primarily Queen Mary, who resented Alexandra. Alexandra had pulled rank on Mary in their very young years since Alexandra out-ranked Mary, who was born of a small duchy of Teck. In the ensuing years, Mary decided to “get even,” by persuading King George to rescind the offer of asylum. Queen Mary had no idea of the consequences of her actions. I’m certain she suffered for her choice.
Such genuine loving and caring words they wrote and spoke to each other! Oh, that people today were like that! In spite of all their untimely death, the life they did live leaves a message here for us, today!
Breaks my heart to see the home movies of the Czar, being carefree and enjoying activities with his family...Knowing what became of them and what they endured..
wonderful that this documentary exists - thanks for sharing it. i imagine that most of the contributors must, themselves, have passed away since the recording was made. it's so important that their memories are preserved.
@@Petal4822 He did not do so for very valid reasons. At the time George declined them asylum, no one know they would be murdered. It was simply assumed they'd go elsewhere. If N&A really cared about those children, they would have sent them abroad at the outset. They chose not to.
A tragedy beyond belief. I have read many books on this topic and it is still hard to understand how this happened. Thank you for this program. I look forward to learning more.
It's such a delight to hear the elderly people who were born in the 1890s and early 1900s (some of them were just a little older than the Romanov girls!) talking about their experience of worshipping in person the Romanov family when they were alive. You can tell by their happy facial expressions and joyful speeches how great it was, when the Bolsheviks took power it must have been for them as if the entire world became dark. Thank you for this video, this is the best channel on UA-cam about our Romanov Martyrs.
Thank you for this wonderful post, Lucas! You are so right! Those elderly people make it so clear that the so-called revolution did not express the feelings of the Russian people, but only served the purposes of the elite. It was a coup from above and from within the State - the people never lost their love for their Tsar!
Yes she spoke english! Not only. She was a very intelligent woman. Very sensible and loving art. She was also very interested in the normal people. Also her daughters spoke english! She wrote several letters king Albert I of Belgium and Maria Hendrika, belgian queen
@@melanievanderbril7599 Nicholas spoke faultless English just like his younger brother, the brothers also spoke fluent French, and passable Danish and German
That's Why His Children Came so Beautiful 😍 The Boy Would've been very Handsome like His Father too If He got to Adulthood Without the Hemophilia or been Killed
I feel so bad for Nicholas. 47 years ago my dad died and my brother was thrust into taking over the family business. He had not been prepared and he didn’t want the role. Suffice it to say, it didn’t go well.
Yes, he shared a resemblance with the Tsar partially because he looks a lot like his own grandfather, George V, and partially because, as he mentions, his maternal grandmother was a Russian grand duchess and first cousin to Nicholas as well.
Being a martyr doesn't guarentee a place in Heaven. Salvation is a wholly personal doing and I hope that the Romanov family had their hearts right with God Almighty.
The Imperial family of Russia was a very loving closed knitted family. They were not like the usual Royal family of Russia, which was very aloof or rather felt higher than other people of Russia. They were rather simple in their lifestyle.
As someone else stated, aloofness was their downfall, directly contributing to their murder. It’s important to distinguish between their personal, private lives and their public lives as rulers. Nicholas and Alexandra were very much in love and had a beautiful family and happy home life. Quite an idyllic personal life by all accounts. But Nicholas was ill-prepared for life as Tsar and made horrendous decisions, took bad advice, etc. He clung to autocratic rule with absolute authority in the face of changing times, to his great detriment. Alexandra was gripped by overwhelming fear for her son and embraced Rasputin who seemed to be the only one who could offer help. The Russian populace was aware of Rasputin’s character and her refusal to acknowledge the problem or explain Alexei’s situation at all exacerbated the problem. Instead of offering at least some information and explanation to the people, she withdrew almost entirely, focused only on her own problems. Neither ever acknowledged or sought to alleviate the suffering of tragedies like the trampling of people at their coronation. Worse, they attended a ball that night. And they continued to make similar, poor ruling decisions up until their murder. Admittedly, they didn’t seem to have malicious intent, but they were utterly incompetent as rulers. They completely failed to see and acknowledge the changing times, instead falling back on autocratic rule with absolute power, outdated even then. They cruelly ignored people’s suffering, causing PR nightmares without realizing what a big problem they created. Bluntly, they made supremely STUPID decisions as rulers. Alexei’s health should have been at least been minimally explained. Rasputin should have been banished. The tragedies and people’s suffering should have been acknowledged and alleviated to the extent possible and balls should have been cancelled. Autocratic rule and absolute power should have been relinquished in favor of some form of democracy. Etc. Most of all, Nicholas and Alexandra should NOT have withdrawn from the public or cocooned themselves away from public life. Eventually, it all added up. Their fate and the end of the Romanov family was an absolute tragedy. However, their own behavior as rulers directly contributed to their murder.

Thank you for yet another wonderful piece of television. I would really have loved to know who was speaking. Other than His Royal Highness and the narrator, no one was verbally identified and they all sounded as if they were worthy of interviewing in their own right.
Thanks for watching. Apart from the narrator Jack Perkins and HRH Prince Michael of Kent, the video includes interviews with: - Prince Nicholas Romanovich Romanov (1922-2014), - (Part 2) Vladimir Solovyov: senior criminal investigator of the Main Forensics Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee, - (Part 2) Alexander Avdonin: geologist, the first known person, in 1979, to begin exhuming the grave of the seven executed Romanovs and - people who were born in the late 19th century, and witness to Nicholas II's reign.
And they bought them from the survivors or other sellers. Queen Mary didn’t steal them off Alexandra’s corpse! Even IF King George V decided not to accept the family for asylum- and that story changes every decade - it wasn’t a matter of a cousin not taking in his cousin’s family. It was a matter of another country accepting deposed rulers who had the reputation of being murderous autocrats. No a lot of the subjugation of human rights was not Nicholas the person’s fault but it was done in his name. George had to think about his own people. And if the PM had wanted to send a ship for Alexandra and the children, he could have done so. The PM had the authority to do that- he technically didn’t need George’s permission
The viewer needs to understand: *This is from the perspective of the Family and largely in the frame of mind of the era.* Although their loss of life is unspeakably horrible, *it is obvious they had no clue of the hundreds of years of suffering their Country's peoples endured.* Russia, large mass of land, a variety of Peoples, countless subject matters to attend to, with zero preparation or aptitude to do so. He needed an Advisor, a Head of State, and Regional Govenors. Then he could focus on the Arts. It was tragic in both directions, as it fostered opportunities for the Narcissists to rise to destroy the innocent and Oppress the entire Public. They were completely storybook and this is a real world... Tragedy Formula They were hated for all that suffer due to their complete unknowing what they reigned over. From the perspective of the 90% hungry and freezing they had to appear as fully self obsessed and utterly imbicels. The story is tragic from every angle. ...and now, the Ruler of Russia is a cold as Stalin. He is merely more competent and knows the world is watching. The Public has little clue how easily they are influenced by media. The Worlds Public is as naive as these Royals.
Both were architects of the pogroms. Countless Jews fled from 25 years of enforced army conscription, destroyed villages, merciless Cossack violence .Get real people- stop believing in fairytales. These were vile autocrats ruling over serfs!
Russia has so much land that it was impossible the way they ran the country for the 'elite' to have time to care about the peaseants. They weren't taught to care about the people they mastered. They cared about family, not much more.
The sadder story is how these royal families abused their ppl for hundreds of years. Ppl starved and died under these ppl while they stayed n the lap of abundance

I have so many questions. With all the social unrest why didn't the Romanov's change things? Why his father chose to wait until the last minute to train Nicholas to be Tsar? He should have been trained from the minute he was old enough.
The empire collapsed because it became too liberal and this is direct consequence of Romanovs trying to change things. Commies attracted masses with their populist speeches, non of which were true.
This documentary was on TV on A&E sometime in the mid 90s. I was able to recognize Prince Michael at Princess Diana's funeral because I had seen him on this program first.
Very complicated -- I understand. I asked that question most compassionately. What power did Nicholas have that he did not use? What power do I (we) have today that I'm (we are not) not using, in the face of the same evil?
I watched it. It was good but I'm picky when it comes to fictionalized fact or factualized fiction, depending on the subject matter. I still enjoyed it despite the inconsistencies though.
@@TheSaltyBitch you are very right. That series is sadly full of fictitious additions and the distortion of the historical truth once again has added to the century-long propaganda against the Imperial family.
The English side of her family did not help them when the troubles began. The royal houses of Europe refused to recue them when they asked for shelter. Sad
The sad and miserable part of this heartbreaking story of Russia is after the Russian revolution nothing got better. Poverty and illiteracy still exists there was no equality for the ordinary people and housing families sharing rooms. The only people who benefited were the top ranking communists who lived in ultra luxury
I keep hearing how Nicholas was completely unprepared for his position as tsar, but he was 26 years old when his father died, so when would his training have begun, if his father had not died at that time?
I might be wrong but I remember hearing that Nicholas’ father saw him as unfit therefore, did not prepare him. And I believe most monarchs ascend the throne around the age of 40 except for cases like Nicolas where his father died young.
He could have been trained from his teens as QE2 has done for WiIIam. He really was not suited to be a leader. Just as David wasn't. He was a party boy. Left red boxes around, wine stains on official documents. Shared state secrets with Wallis who was having a thing with the Germain ambassador. But then again his brother wasn't trained or particularly suited to the job, but rose beautifully to the occasion.
Nicholas’ father didn’t see him as “ mature” enough or “ready.” In addition, Nick’s father thought he had more time. It was unexpected, for the Tsar, who was otherwise strong and healthy, to come down with kidney disease/failure, and die in his 40s. At the time Tsar Alexander (Nick father) died from kidney failure, there was no such thing as dialysis. In addition, film 1930s 🇺🇸 film star died at about age 25 or 26 from the same thing that killed Tsar Alexander, and there still was no dialysis THEN either! I’ll have to look into the approximate year that kidney dialysis bec available to help ppl with kidney disease.
It amazes me how detached from his people this guy was! Their wealth was huge ad yet the country was starving stuck in a serfdom society. He could have stopped it in 1905 but no he turned a blind eye to the detriment of his family.

Rasputin used his influence with the tsar and tsarina to appoint ministers to the government who were incompetent and helped to bring the government down in 1917. He was evil.

@@keodi1 Short answer: Because the Russian Orthodox Church refuses to believe that any of the remains of the Romanov family are authentic. Your best source for more information is Google. There’s a good article in the New York Times newspaper from 2016 explaining in detail exactly why the last two children have not been placed beside their family members. 💙🙏💙
What aggrevated me was that the cousins chose to do nothing to grant them assylum. Nicholas' cousin George could have helped them have a safe place to live out the rest of their lives, after he abdicated. He refused, as did England.
Hello Chris! So, Empress Alexandra was the daughter of Princess Alice, daughter of Queen Victoria. So, she was basically English and the English language was her native one, as well as German. They were all related. They communicated with each other (the Royal Houses) in English, in addition to their native languages. Queen Victoria was the anchor.
I'd sure hate to have been in King George's shoes when he finally hit the Pearly Gates and had to explain to queen Victoria how he too afraid for his own reputation to save her favorite granddaughter and family. 😳
Queen Victoria was dead, it was her son George V that was advised not to do it. I bet he regretted it, no one had to know he was the one saving them, I suppose.

Sorry to say Nicholas was not Educated by his father for his role to rule the Russian people. The impression that the pictures give, that he was playing a lot and did not give his country the attention that was needed to rule his country so it did not end well for them according to history.
They couldn't trust others not to use them as pawns or try to bring them back. That I think is why and to show they would never go back to autocracy. Who knew then that communism would be so horrible.
@@2Sugarbears your absolutely right. Communist destroy history. Then create a new country in their image. What a horrible ending for the Romanov family
He was fine for the role of ruler. Russia has made a huge step forward in 20 years of his rule. The revolution is not the result of his and only his mistakes. A huge number of reasons for the Revolution stretches back to the 18th century.
I'm not sure if 'unfit' is the right word. They were somewhat unprepared and childlike; their letters show that much. One gets the strong impression they had far rather forget the whole thing and just be with one another and raise their kids. But how does one guide a representative of God?
And that is a lot of the reason why I don't believe in hereditary monarchy. Quite often the person who inherits the position does not want it, but it is considered a dereliction of duty if they don't assume it. And that is just stupid. No one else in the world is required to work at any job if they don't want it. This does not mean that they wouldn't be good at the job; but it is not what they would have chosen for themselves. Queen Elizabeth II is this type of person and her father, George VI, didn't want to be monarch either. He actually cried when he learned it was his fate. But poor Nicholas never wanted any part of it. He did it because he had no choice and then he had to pay for it with his life. If a hereditary heir does not want the hereditary position, then there should be absolutely no shame in passing it onto someone who does want it. And then there are people who want power and authority and then are disasters when they have it, e.g. Donald Trump. But hereditary monarchy is a ridiculous institution in our modern age.
@@victoriajean-pierre3518 If you mean the achievements of the era of Nicholas II, then I can write a lot and for a long time. Of course, I do not deny that there were many problems. I'll just list some of the achievements. He increased the funding of the Ministry of Public Education several times over. As a result, the coverage of the population with a network of schools has grown significantly. The share of literate recruits has also increased by several tens of percent. The percentage of students from non-aristocratic families has grown dramatically. At the same time, I would like to draw attention to the issue of compulsory general education. The State Duma and the State Council argued for a long time about this, but they never decided anything. They had great disagreements over timing and funding. The electrification of the country begins to be more active in comparison with the previous time. In dozens of large cities, trams began to run for the first time and electric lights shone at night. In terms of total electricity generation, Russia was ahead of France and Japan combined. But it lagged behind in per capita electricity generation (the eternal problem of Russia, lol). At the same time, Russia began to order (like in Germany) electric combines for harvesting and plowing. In Russia, the extraction of minerals and smelting of metals increased several times. At the same time, Nicholas II banned the export of crude oil from the country. Because of this, over the years, Russia has become the leader among the exporters of kerosene (it's like becoming the leader in the export of gasoline now). Most of the Trans-Siberian Railway was built. The era of Nicholas II is the beginning of the Silver Age of Russian literature. Akhmatova, Blok, Yesenin, Bulgakov, Bunin and many others. We can also note the successes in the field of agriculture. In some years of Nikolai's reign, Russia produced about half of all chicken eggs in the world. Russia was among the leaders in the cultivation and export of grain. For 20 years of His reign, the population of Russia has increased to 170 million people. And there was 120 million at the beginning. Every year the aristocracy lost more and more land. They passed on to the middle and lower classes of society. The deposits of ordinary people in banks grew. Also, Nikolai II became one of the founders of the modern system of international law. It was on his initiative that the International Conference was convened in The Hague. Nicholas came up with very radical measures for disarmament (even by modern standards), and therefore a small part of them was adopted. Before the First World War, Nicholas just hoped that it would be possible to agree at the negotiating table. But Wilhelm II ignored Nicholas's telegrams. But the portrait of Nicholas II still hangs in The Hague. By the way, it was Nicholas who in 1907 proposed the creation of the League of Nations. In 1921, US President Warren Harding warmly recalled at the Washington Conference the "Emperor of All Russia" and his noble aspirations. And one of the problems could be noted just the question of the quality of life of the common population, which became somewhat worse in the First World War. Serfdom slowed down many processes in Russia. And serfdom became much more acute after Ivan the Terrible's Oprichnina. The country needed to be rebuilt, and the government chose the easiest path. Then it became tougher because of the Time of Troubles. Then Peter the Great will merge the peasants and slaves into one estate. Of course, with an oblique attitude towards slaves. Serfdom reached its peak under Catherine the Great. But capitalism has already managed to lag behind Western Europe in many aspects. National and especially Jewish question. In Russia, Jews were welcomed only in 2 cases: if they had a higher education or accepted Orthodoxy. After the partitions of Poland under Catherine the Great, the majority of all Jews in the world ended up in Russia. It was the Jews who made up a large number of revolutionaries in the 19th and early 20th centuries. And they can be understood. A similar question was raised in Poland, Finland, Ukraine and the Caucasus. The living conditions of the workers were poor. But it should be understood that all Western countries have gone this way to Russia. Capitalism in its early stages was quite brutal with the lower strata.
At 9.50 to 10.05 Czar Nicholas II, Said the true: He was not Prepared, to be a Czar - He didn't wanted to be a Czar - He didn't Know How to Speak with His Minister. (Plus I may Add) He didn't even tried to Learn to Be a Czar, I think he started his day Around 11.00 am. being informed of different matters or Having meeting /Ministers "AFTER HE & HIS FAMILY HAD BREAKFAST, WENT to the PARK or RIVER To PLAY / HIS CHILDREN OR ROWING A BOAT WITH THEM ENJOYING THE FIELDS" (was an Excellent Father though)
I’m halfway through this documentary and enjoying it. There’s only one thing it left out. Bloody Sunday was not an entirely peaceful protest; there were burnings, lootings from rioters and many of leaders of the protest were Bolshevik activists-Father Gapon in particular. Also, the document the leaders drafted to the Czar and his cabinet had little to do with labor laws and factory reforms the way the people were led to believe-and instead called for government changes with communist methods.
После того как идентифицировали останки семьи Романовых они наконец-то воссоединились в раю . Николай и Александра - это пример настоящей любви, уважения и самоотверженности. Убийство царской семьи легло кровавым пятном на весь народ России .
Keep in mind, this documentary was like 25 years ago, before they found all the children's bodies. In fact, I remember watching this very documentary for a paper back in Middle School.
Of course, this documentary was made before the discovery and identification of the bodies of Alexi and Anastasia in a grave nearby to the grave site of the rest of the Royal family. I remember watching this film when it was shown originally on A&E. Since then, the entire Royal family has been reinterred in the Cathedral of Sts Peter and Paul in St Petersburg.
@@AA-vv8my You are utterly mistaken and not using common sense to make that statement in 2023; NO ONE survived. In that one regard the Bolsheviks were throughly complete. But please tell whoever told you that Anastasia survived that they are as stupid dumb and ignorant of facts and history as you.

Putin is a red through and through.
Very sad, but informative. This tragedy should never happen again.

The Imperial family of Russia was a very loving closed knitted family. They were not like the usual Royal family of Russia, which was very aloof or rather felt higher than other people of Russia. They were rather simple in their lifestyle.
Aloofness was their downfall
I’m fascinated with how handsome Tsar Nicholas II was.

English Royalty did not aid this family but happily received much of exquisite jewels.
It was far far from that simple

Why his father chose to wait until the last minute to train Nicholas to be Tsar? He should have been trained from the minute he was old enough.

Very complicated -- I understand. I asked that question most compassionately. What power did Nicholas have that he did not use? What power do I (we) have today that I'm (we are not) not using, in the face of the same evil?
One of those questions that can never really be answered...
@Y Ddraig Goch you are perfectly right. In this life, risking everything for noble purposes is the only way to conquer evil, always through love!

Nicholas’s father called him “girly” and a dunce. That’s why Nicholas brought Alexei very young to state events- so he’d be prepared
He could have been trained from his teens as QE2 has done for
WiIIam.

Short answer: Because the Russian Orthodox Church refuses to believe that any of the remains of the Romanov family are authentic.
I find it very interesting that the family members corresponded in English. What was the reason for that?
Hello Chris! So, Empress Alexandra was the daughter of Princess Alice, daughter of Queen Victoria. So, she was basically English and the English language was her native one, as well as German. Nicholas was also fluent in English, and it was therefore very convenient for them to use the English language in their correspondence.

@@RomanovRoyalMartyrs I surely will, thank you for educating me. I heard of them, but actually had no idea. May you be blessed.
@@blizzyynot1894 thank you for your reply! We are happy that we are in a position to offer you the necessary information on a rather distorted chapter in world history. If you are really interested in the truth about the life and death of the last Romanov family, as well as to what really took place in Russian during that turbulent era, then we highly recommend our book, which offers previously unpublished materials strictly from primary and archival sources. Our book brings to light a multitude of unknown and unrevealed facts, which evince that many truths remain silenced or distorted to this day. Such are:
• The achievements and great reforms of Tsar Nicholas' reign.
• The events of the 1905 revolution and Bloody Sunday.
• Russia’s and Tsar Nicholas’ involvement in WW1.
• The plots and conspiracies to overthrow Tsar Nicholas from his throne.
• The myth of the “Bread Revolution” and the truth about the February 1917 coup.
If you like to learn more, you can visit our official website: www.romanovs.eu/en-book
In the pages of the book, the eye of the reader’s mind will be apprised of the portraits of the Romanov family's psyche, depicted with the colors of their very own words from the personal writings of the family and of those who lived very close to them.
Merry Christmas! 🎄🌷🎹
Sorry to say Nicholas was not Educated by his father for his role to rule the Russian people. The impression that
the pictures give, that he was playing a lot and did not give his country the attention that was needed to rule his
country so it did not end well for them according to history.
A love match made in heaven.
So very true!
They are. ..
There was no reason to kill them. He abdicated for both himself & his son & he would have left Russia.
If only Alexander III saw fit to train Nicholas II from a young age. How different history would have been!
Alexander III knew his son was a lost cause and would rule terribly. Also he didn’t think he would die as fast as he did.
Czar Nicholas was good father and Husband. He was not fit to ruler. Alexandra was good Mother and Wife. not good Empress.
He was fine for the role of ruler. Russia has made a huge step forward in 20 years of his rule. The revolution is not the result of his and only his mistakes. A huge number of reasons for the Revolution stretches back to the 18th century.
@@AlexanderSergeevRus interesting. Can you elaborate please? Thank you!
Music too loud over the dialogue.
Cuz he never grew up
I’m halfway through this documentary and enjoying it.
Not 3 of their 5 children. They were all murdered. The remains of Maria and Alexis have been located
Remember, by the time this documentary was made. Those bodies had not yet been found
Keep in mind, this documentary was like 25 years ago, before they found all the children's bodies. In fact, I remember watching this very documentary for a paper back in Middle School.
My grandparents lived under the czars rule ....not Nicholas...but his forefathers....I heard horror stories about that time era
Memories....I remembered watching History with my Parent's.
Immortal Romanovs!
Why were there cuts at 25:37? It was about 43 year old Tsar Nicholas II having fun with officers. I wanted to know!!!
Edit: Was it lost?
How long ago was this video recorded? Because I believe it is true that ALL the children were executed....not just three children.
This documentary is from the late '90s, so before Maria's and Alexei's bodies were found.
I heard Anastasia survived
@@AA-vv8my You are utterly mistaken and not using common sense to make that statement in 2023; NO ONE survived. In that one regard the Bolsheviks were throughly complete.
But please tell whoever told you that Anastasia survived that they are as stupid dumb and ignorant of facts and history as you.
Great movie I really enjoyed it however, I can’t find part 2.
