I made a new one with lots of airflow around the body. The camera gets really warm even when sitting on a desk, this cage doesn’t seem to make it worse in my opinion.
I will sell it for anyone who doesn’t have a 3d printer, otherwise the STL will be available soon. I left cutouts to the vents, however if you use the tail air while charging the battery it gets extremely hot even out of a case.
@@livebythebay That is what I was wondering. I usually run NDI with the POE during my soccer streams and it gets a bit hot during a match. I'm thinking with the 1/4-20 mounts on the side, I could add on a USB fan I use on my Mevo Starts. I would be very interested in purchasing one.
an STL for the cube would be amazing! It looks great!
STL will be coming in the next day and or 2. Some last minute changes to it and then I will release it.

Your box is beautiful, but it doesn't make the camera warm?

@@livebythebay great idea.
Do you sell your “cube”? How is the airflow?
