Just a quick video showing how I changed the Serpentine Drive Belt and Tensioner Pulley on a 2002 Dodge Dakota with the V6 3.9L Magnum Motor. This is the same for years 1997 - 2003, and is also the same for the Dodge Durango (1999 - 2003) and some of the Ram trucks (1994 - 2001) that had the same 3.9L engine. The bearings do wear out on these pulleys, so it may be a good idea to plan on changing them out when doing this job.
Tools Needed:
15mm socket and long handle ratchet or breaker bar or 15mm wrench
Torque Wrench
The torque spec I found online for the tensioner pulley bolt is 45 ft lbs.
The torque spec I found online for the tensioner bolt to engine is 30 ft lbs.
I bought the parts at a local O'reilly Auto parts store
Part number for the pulley - 38016
Part number for the Master Pro serpentine belt - K070975

The belt tensioner pulley, can you remove and replace only the pulley?

Once you remove the pulley you can get to the bolt for the tensioner assembly
