You are Malfurion Stormrage, arch druid of the Night Elves and protector of Kalimdor. A great prophecy has foretold the return of the Burning Legion, who seek to destroy Azeroth once and for all.
For 10,000 years you have roamed the Emerald Dream, awaiting the day for your return to lead your people against the demons. However, you feel that the world has changed much during your absence. Despite Nordrassil being heavily guarded and Illidan the Betrayer sealed deep within his prison, you sense something terribly wrong that threatens your people's survival from the coming invasion.
Your mind is left in doubt, and the Prophecy's fulfillment draws near. Will you make sacrifices to ensure Azeroth's survival from the Burning Legion? Find out as you play Malfurion's Quest, the epic finale in Turnro's series of Warcraft 3 campaigns. - Ігри

The cheese in this mission is to raze both the naga and demon base before mining and making any building, pretty helpful on hard difficulty

But you can't blame Mother Shahraz for that. Kathranis was already suspicious enough towards Malfurion's intention on controlling his people even before Mother Shahraz's gave her warning. So, even without her interference, Kathranis will surely still betray Malfurion sooner or later and betrayals after betrayals are common occurrences on this campaign.
I love the how all the armies talk strategy. Makes the whole thing feel like a real battle.
I would listen all day to audio books with Azshara's voice...

They weren't protecting Ysera's heart, they didn't aid Cenarius, and they obviously weren't slowing down neither Kil'jaeden nor Azshara since both of them are heading towards the Well!!

I haven't watched the whole series from the start but this time I couldn't hold when my favorite music from D2 plays in this mission, really been enjoying your videos Executor, thank you for giving us content every day.
I also see some people complain and mock Malfurion for turning into a tree but I find it interesting, this whole time he has been destroying the land but his will remains the same, he wants to be necessary for Azeroth, so turning into a tree maybe means he wants to replace the world tree.
I was skeptical from watching these campaigns from the beginning, but now I'm hooked. I want more

Except for Scourge of the Damned's buildings based off of nerubian architecture.
Except it isn't, in earlier lore it was directly influenced by the nerubian after they was subjugated. While in the retcon, it is inspired by Maldraxxus region in the Shadowland.

3 Dragon Aspects? Azshara's Forces? Come on. It's stupid now if Malfurion would be able to destroy them all. They have way too much power than he does. Plus there is even Kil'jaeden there!

Magtheridon is one of the wisest Legionnaire, but today he kinda forgot to be assertive.
You know throughout this whole campaign story, I still can't take Malfurion seriously. First, he is wake up as a delusional druid with a voice in his head. Second, he drunk from a murloc bath water and then call himself as The Archsage, lmao. Third, he dress up like a bee and and roasted 'lesser' forest dweller pompously and told them unhygienic, they live in a dense forest, what do you expect dude XD? Fouth, Malfurion walking animation. Fifth, his sigma male vibe of dialogue. Sixth, he is more destructive than the Democratic Burning Legion and still believe that he need to secure more power to end them.

But I'd like to try to make it tragic.
This custom campaign reminds me of the movie "The Fly". MC wake up one day with a voice on his head telling that he can take down the world with his created device - the teleporter, drink something that messed him up (beer), while drunk he enters the teleporter, merged with the fly in molecular level that sneaked inside the teleporter and things went real scary stuff body horror from there.
The same thing happened in Malfurion's Quest: wake up one day with a voice on his head telling that he can bring something new to Azeroth - to be some kind of savior for the world, drink something messed up (corrupted fountain turned into murloc bath water), become one with the corruption he just drank, started his adventure while drunken with power and things went down hill except it's psychological horror this time as the once beloved great druid with admirable personality turned into a grotesque counterpart of himself that he frightened many denizens of Ashenvale including it's demigod.

I have no idea what's happening, but seeing malfurion working with the legion and illidan being controlled by the nagas and not vice versa is wild
Malfurion's corrupted voice gets deeper. Eventually he's going to get so corrupted it actually loops around to the highest pitched voice possible.
