I graduated from there years ago and it was a great place to study! People at the university were very nice, I found my best friends from there and Jyväskylä is a beautiful and kind city to live in. I miss it every day. I had to move to another city because it was too hard to find a teacher’s job in Jyväskylä. Anyway, thank you for my time there JYU!! 😊

Are there career fairs and events involving visiting companies to provide opportunities for professional networking? I'm wondering how JYU helps students with their job search?

Guess I have relatives in that province of Finland and this would be the closest university for them but as Swedish immigrants we never bothered to know and its to late know to know. Moi anyway.

That's the dumbest question I ever heard in my whole life.

For natives, mostly yes. There are are effectively no tuition fees for Finns and cost of studying materials per course is minimal (no 200€ per book costs, since nearly all of them are available in the university library. Many courses gather material packages that are available to the students online etc).
For foreigners there are costs, but compared to many places around the world they're not too bad, I found a source that states Bachelor's degree is 1,500$ per year, and Master's degree somewhere between 8-12k per year. Those are numbers for JYU, other places might cost more or less (willing to bet you can't get by that cheaply in Helsinki for example)
