I have lived in Australia for 6 years. And I have my permanent residence, but anyone coming from India to study here I would suggest them not to come here to study. Rather, directly apply for a permanent resident. Try to get your profile ready within India. You don't have to come here and spend all your money. I agree with that, it takes time and procedures to follow before taking the correct path towards PR. What I have seen in Australia that many people changed their career and or degrees in order to meet PR requirements. Even changing locations as well. It’s a time consuming process any where from 4 years to 10. As far as I know
This is so informative and realistic. I swear the delusion of opting to study and getting PR is so easily conveyed. I am thinking for MBA in finance but really skeptical about the opportunities and managing expenses. I feel it's much better to continue in India work n then seek a job opportunity abroad.

Hello Akanksha, I have seen so many videos on this topic but that was one of the best videos because it came from personal experience and you speak from heart. Keep up the good job
It is harder now to get a student visa! As of March 23 2004, the revised GT (genuine student) requirement will be strictly implemented. You are to prove and sign a declaration of your true intention of coming to Australia as a student! One question is " Do you intend to stay and look for a job after you graduate from your studies or are you going back home?". Many foreign student has been caught in the past by foreign affairs over staying, working illegally, disappearing, marrying Australian to get permanent residency! This is the reason for this changes!
Yes of course. You have to abide by the rules and genuinely want to study and not just use study pathway as a means to get PR eventually. Illegally working and contractual marriages are NOT OKAY.
so how should I answer this question " Do you intend to stay and look for a job after you graduate from your studies or are you going back home?". to get the visa?

Something Akanksha, you have not mentioned in the vlog. I thought I should point out. Any university degree is very local in nature. Hello madam I live and work in Dubaï as a security Guard. Unfortunately for me my skill is not on the skills list. Please how else can i come to Australia other than a study visa ???
The hard truth is that Australia is currently facing property rental crisis and job shortage. Casual jobs have been fulfilled by many students constantly coming in creating also a lack of availability in rental property. Why is nobody saying this?
I understand your point of view and I would feel the same way if I was a citizen of that country. I truly love Australia and its people but I can only share my personal experiences.
Australians miss out on places in our own universities due to foreign students because universities favour those students because they pay for courses upfront 💰 Australia wants students to pay, study and return to their country. We do not need more immigration and higher population. Standards of living is falling so fast here now. No jobs, no wage increases, housing shortages and unaffordabilty, increased cost of living... Grass is always greener on the other side.
@@multioptioned yes, study visa should be just that. Australia is currently in housing crisis and the govt is starting to recognise that, the outrge at how they have handled immigration is enormous amongst citizens and the govt has to react now. I think stand by for even more severe visa restrictions, some countries may even be crossed off the list completely. Apparently the govt is starting to refuse even tourist or visitor visas from countries like India.
@ian7033-qj9wg Yes, Australia currently has over 700,000 international students in 2024. Whilst that is slightly lower than pre covid years, it still provides $6b to universities in fees. Education is Australia's 4th largest export earner.
@@multioptionedno it isn’t. The statistic that “education is Australia’s 4th largest export” assumed that international students do not work in Australia. From this video as one example, we know international students absolutely work in Australia and pay for tuition and rent mostly from money earned in Australia. That is not an export.

Hi Guys listen up! The content in the video is helpful and quite useful too. I myself am studying in Australia and there are good courses you can choose from before entering in the country. Australia offers a plethora of benefits, starting with streamlined university admission processes and efficient student visa procedures. The study pattern in Australia emphasizes a practical approach, encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills through interactive lectures, group projects, and hands-on experiences. One of the major advantages is the post-study work permit, allowing international students to gain valuable work experience after completing their studies, which can significantly enhance their career prospects globally. Starting with a good study abroad consultancy is very important as it is the foundation of your entire journey. I know one of the best consultancies i.e. IDP where they have experts who are good enough to give you the support that is needed. In addition to the aforementioned benefits, studying in Australia offers access to a vibrant and dynamic academic community, where students can engage with leading scholars and experts in their field. So setup your mind and get going with your opportunities!

So how did you manage getting a job in Australia and later moved to Canada. Even students in Canada are facing job crisis. Can you guidd me how to get a job in Canada ??
For the master of data science is there any possibility of getting PR in Australia. Please let me know
I don’t know anything about specific occupations. Check whether your qualifications and education matches with any occupation roles in the skilled occupation list
Hii, I have a Civil engineering degree and 5+ years of work experience in India. Do you know if it's possible to directly get a job in Australia or i have to follow the study masters pathway only?
Hi Akansha, For visa related, isnt there a second way to get it. like u working for a company and ur performance there was amazing that they are willing to provide you visa for it?
Yeah that is a different stream called Employers Sponsored Visa

Does ranking of University matters in Australia? a lot of people have told me that, no matter what the level of University is, the quality of education remains same and employers do not see the University brand on CV's.
I am confused between ANU and Wollongong for Project Management masters degree.
That’s right. Which university you have graduated from is not important. Everything is at the same level.
Hello madam
I live and work in Dubaï as a security Guard. Unfortunately for me my skill is not on the skills list.
Please how else can i come to Australia other than a study visa ???
Hey Sis, I will be going to Macquarie University for Bachelor in Actuarial Studies. So do you have any info about this course at MQ?
Unfortunately not 😢
Akansha what about real estate? Does realtor or real estate agent can apply for PR?
If the occupation is in the list then yes.
Australians miss out on places in our own universities due to foreign students because universities favour those students because they pay for courses upfront 💰
Australia wants students to pay, study and return to their country.
Helo mam i want to construction management is it good in australia what is ur opinion
I want to study abroad but i am so confused about which country i choose. Plz someone suggest me which country has best visa approval rate
Is their any positive scopes in physiotherapy in Australia?
Hy akansha.. thanks for this information. I have a work experience in marketing domain.. Im planning to apply for AUS study visa ..have started doing ny reasearch work recently.. could you please guid eme which degree would help me in getting to apply for PR later based on my work experience
Any marketing related degree would be fine.
Hi
It was very informative video 🤝
What do you think about the course
International Master of Business Administration (Business Analytics)
Thanks. Great course! You need to double check PR pathway

So if I'm looking for masters in clinical psychology, is it a recognised field there? Secondly, how hard is getting a part time job
Hi! I am also looking for the same degree in Australia. I had sorted my choices way before but I am still confused. How’s your thing going on?
I have been admitted to Macquarie University. Could you tell me about student life there, and are there any opportunities after graduation?
You make your own opportunities. They don’t have placement services like we do in India so you have to find jobs on your own there. All the best.
Student life was pretty amazing for me
Hello ma'am, i have received an offer letter from UWA for business analytics. I am planning for IELTS exam. Hey there 👋 im thinking to do mba finance either from Canada or Australia or India itself if i get into tier 1 university but as all government university that is IIM reservation for lower caste people and i being into general category im confident enough that I'll not be able to make into the IIM'S 😂 so my question to you is what's the value of an Australian degree in india and which one will be better Canada or Aus as I've my relatives living in both the country so rent and food wouldn't be a big problem for me.

Which university is best for BSAI in Australia?
What BSAI?
@@Whatsnextakanksha
Bachelor Study in Artificial intelligence
BSAI stands for ``Bachelor Study in Artificial Intelligence``
@@studyknowledge3603 I am unaware of that sorry!
I will apply to Macquarie University for 2025. Apart from the University tuiton fees, were you able to cover all the other cost of living fees based on the payment you received in your part-time job?
What course are you going for?
Thanks dear
Looking for masters in marketing JUN,2024 intake. What are the job opportunities available in Australia and is it possible to get pr? Please help
Job opportunities are enough but getting that first job is hard. There is a pathway to PR after marketing but again it’s not as easy so consult with an immigration lawyer about tb is

Not really. They value experience more than your graduating university
