Weekend Yard Work, Cooking, & Cleaning! | Corn Salad, Pork Chops, & Strawberry Fluff Cake

- Corn Salad, Pork Chops, & Strawberry Fluff Cake
Corn Salad:
2 cans whole kernel corn, drained
2 cans diced tomatoes with green chilis, drained
1 onion, diced
salt & pepper, to taste
1 tsp garlic powder
1 serrano pepper, seeded and diced
1 Tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
2 Tablespoons olive oil
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Strawberry Fluff Cake recipe:
1 angel food cake, 13oz
1 3oz box strawberry Jell-O
1 cup sliced strawberries
1 and 1/4 cup boiling water
2 containers cool whip, 8oz
Directions:
In a large bowl dissolve the Jell-o with the boiling water. Add one container of cool whip and mix until smooth. Add the sliced strawberries. Chop or break the angel food cake into small squares and add to the mixture. Pour into an 11x7 baking dish. Top with the other container of cool whip. Refrigerate overnight, or for at least two hours. Top with more sliced strawberries and serve! 😁

Titus is so appreciative of all you cook. He reminds me of my husband's reactions. Every night my husband thanks me for cooking supper...even when it's leftovers. I so appreciate that. ❤

Your fig tree is bringing me back to great memories when we would visit my grandparents in Greece every summer. My paternal frandparents had a fig tree and a walnut tree a mere few feet away from their front door. It was pure heaven. I do hope you all love figs because right now I am very jealous. Lol..

I made strawberry fluff for Easter. It was really good.
