excellent video !!
Good video, mate!
Excellent video! Thank you!
Very very helpful thanks
As soon as you said “used on 4WD/247 show” and i already Sub that channel, I knew this would be legit video (and subbed here)
What about taking the gears apart properly and lubing the pins? They need lube more than any of the other parts, half job if you ask me.
Hello. It was a useful video, thank you. So how many watts is the 12vDC motor on it? and how many rpm?
Hi, it say Shell aero grease. Can u give me details what other grease to use please?. Thanks from Oamaru New Zealand.
5:17 curious. How much of that tub is methylated spirits, and how much is brake cleaner? 50/50? Or 4:1 ? Or ?
A good video but here's another one that doesn't know the difference between "bushes" and "brushes". Also, I hope the fire extinguisher is nearby because there is NO WAY I'd be using battery clamps near all those solvents.
I like to brush the bushes
Down under
Brushes not bushs. There is another guy on UA-cam copying the same video using the same words. 🤔🤔
Also it's thread locker, not thread lube
Loctite
Sparking on threads is not very healthy for nuts. You should use spare nuts while testing.
neither is sparking with a tub of solvent a foot away.
What grease are you using please? Great video
Thats moly grease
The expensive stuff.

@@raptorthumper12 The ol' bait and switch
What type of grease are you using?
Did you get an answer to this question?
@@GERfusion Moly
Penrite Molygrease. High temp.
So a winch is literally just a starter motor.. cool
👍👏😎
Can we buy parts for this winch?
G'day Colin, you can purchase parts over the phone by calling 1800 88 39 64. Cheers - Samantha
Surely you should of checked the bushes!
And the Brushes
looked ok to me. hi from oz
Could have and should have used a better grease . Thread sealer ? really. If you use a better high pressure grease it will last longer and keep it working in extreme conditions better and longer , quieter . Rope doesn't like dirt and dust so good to wash it in somee soapy water and rinse well then wind in. Wire rope same thing inspect and clean , same again soapy water and rinse well then wind back in . Good idea to clean and coat the wiring terminals as well to get good contact and reduce heat , spray with battery terminal coating .
What grease got be using
Agreed. Since when was Loctite a thread sealer?
Thanks for showing us nothing of the brushes
Ha...finally someone who knows what they are called.
