    I made a homemade ramen bar with all of our favorite toppings!
    The first step is to make ramen eggs, pan fry pre-cooked pork belly and seasoned shrimp and then prepare all your other favorite toppings.
    I used an egg cooker because I’m terrible at cooking eggs and this always gives me perfectly cooked soft boiled eggs. The marinade is 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1/3 cup mirin and 1 tbsp sugar. Just let the eggs marinate in the sauce for at least an hour.
    Other toppings that I used were corn, tofu, pork belly (I used the cooked one from Trader Joe’s), shrimp, shrimp tempura, mushrooms, dumplings, edamame, bok choy, seasoned bamboo, green onions, but you can make any toppings you’d like. That’s what I love about this. My family all got to customize their own bowl.
    My family absolutely loved this and it’s definitely going to be an ongoing holiday tradition for us!

    If you’re making all those quality toppings, shouldn’t you just use quality fresh noodles?
