Great reaction fellas 👍🏼 Intelligent and funny as always. Jamey Johnson is the greatest. For a great all around look into his abilities as an artist, you should watch him play "Lead Me Home" live at Farm Aid 2021. It's just him and his acoustic guitar. It's a sad song, but so powerful. "Between Jennings and Jones" "Heartache" or "My Way To You" would be great songs for you to check out. Also, a live performance with Allison Kraus of "Seven Spanish Angels" is fantastic. Last but certainly not least, I believe Jamey served approximately 8 years in the Marine Corps Reserve. Every time I've seen him live, he always pays a very respectful tribute to the military service men and women. I think you would enjoy his song "21 Guns" released earlier this year. Keep up the great channel 👍🏼
Great reaction. Love Jamey's music! If you want a fun song, try reacting to "It's Hard To Kiss the Lips at Night That Chew Your Ass Out All Day Long" by the Notorious Cherry Bombs (featuring Vince Gill and Rodney Crowell).
You totally nailed the symbolism!! 😂 This is definitely a throwback to Jamey’s younger years, playing in the local bars… Lots of “crazy” to be found in the backwoods, local honky tonks in south Alabama!! A lot of Jamey’s early music was more laid back and fun, versus his more traditional, deep rooted country style that he’s known for today. Two suggestions from his early years, written about some of the local honky tonks here that you’d enjoy and get a giggle out of … “Ray Ray’s Juke Joint” & “Rules of the Bar”. Whenever you lived through the actual situation that the songs were written about, you kinda develop a connection that others will never fully understand! Great reaction!! And Semper Fi to Jamey, as well!! ❤
Love y'alls videos. First, thank you for your service. I certainly appreciate it. I know no one else will request this, and honestly, I don't have any money to bribe. Please can you do Shane Owens-It's a Southern Thing? He's my cousin and in my opinion a great country singer. I would absolutely be grateful.
Hi guys. I ove your channel. That being said, I've got tons of songs I'd love to hear you react to, but two in particular. First is Bobby Bare's "The Winner". It's truly a fun song that I think both of you will enjoy. The other selection is Roy Clark's "Malaguena". I know Kieth is a big fan of Spanish Flamenco guitar. Kieth, you will love this one. There's one version from Keep up the great the tv show "The Odd Couple" and it's a shortened version. Avoid that one. The best version that's out there is a performance from Branson, Mo. Unfortunately I'm 80 years old now, and sad to say there's nothing in my budget to send a bottle. I wish I could. I too am a fan of a good bourbon, btw. Keep up the good work. Love you guys!
I said it before on The High Cost of Living from the same album, the tracks all flow into each other and as an album it all sounds like one big song that never ends. If you listen again you can hear the drummer setting up the beat for the next track on the album, Stars in Alabama. The ambient sound in the background continues and links the songs together as well. The High Cost of Living -> Angel there is a buzzing of an electronic transformer that continues on both track, etc. Definitely check out Lonely at the Top or Can't Cash My Checks by Jamey Johnson. Another great one from his first album is Between Jennings and Jones.
I’m a woman, I’ll admit, we all have a bit of crazy in us, same as men though, you just haven’t found it yet, my crazy comes out when you mess with my family or with any child. Then a whole nother level of me comes out.
@@Mrskorba my parents separated when I was three, they had shared custody of me, my mom had primary. The summer before I turned 8 I spent at my dad's. When the summer was over, I didn't want to go with my mom. For the next three and a half years she wasn't letting me see my dad. I know she thought she was doing right, but for a few years I thought maybe it would have been better if I was never born. I learned I had depression in 21, and went and got help with it, and learned I had been struggling with it all my life.
I'm a wuss, I always mixed my drinks. I know there are good women out there, but they are few and far between. I love my mom to death, but she was bat shit crazy, and she'd be the first one to say it, may she rest in peace. Al Bundy said, "I don't trust anybody that can bleed for a week and doesn't die "

That's a Vince Gill song, I have watched that one a few times.

Between Jennings and Jones is his 2nd Album.
@@nickhawkins6054 Indeed it is, been a good while since I actually physically loaded a CD to listen to a song.
Loved it.
Glad you enjoyed it! -Dustin
If I want to smile I pour a 2oz shot of Red Stag over a golf ball sized ice cube. It puts a smile on my face you couldn't slap off!
I think you were right about the outro. It reflected the course of a relationship with a woman. I see Keith has been in the sun.
You need to listen to the whole album; each song runs into the next which will explain the outro instrumental

@@johnmancuso9077 correction, that’s any good mom 😉 I’ve seen many moms that are trash or that hurt their own kids.
