everybody gets this worng when reacting to THIS specific video. its cut poorely on gol'd rogers execution. the crowd is not cheering because he is dead, they are cheering because he confirmed that the one piece really exists. this gave all the people the last kick to set sail and hunt for the legendary treasure.
When I first stumbled upon One Piece I was only expecting a fun little adventure cartoon, but never could I have imagined how much more it would become.
I'm a new one piece fan, basically didn't know anything about it really except the 4kids English theme song. Started the manga last year, got to the current chapters about 2 months ago. Whitebeard's speech at Marineford hits SO HARD when all of that is fresh in your mind. Luffy challenging the whole word to a fight, clearly mantling Roger's Will, etc. And then continuing to plow through. Honestly recommend that as well get closer to the end, people plow through reading the whole series again so you can catch up right for the final arc. The story slaps when it's fresh as opposed to waiting 1-2 weeks between chapters.
People weren't cheering because Roger was executed, he set in motion the Great Pirate Era, the whole world inherited his will that day, they cheered because their hearts were stirred!
You should really watch some more videos of One Piece that explain the world of One Piece a bit better if you are interested in learning more about the show and manga. There are some really great channels out there that explain some powers and characters on youtube that is easy for those that don't watch it to also understand.

It's more of a pronunciation problem, might be easier for him to read something like "Loo Fee "
