We love our Froli Zona system. Keeps under the mattress free from condensation, mold, and mildew. It is a super comfortable "spring" system. Wouldn't leave home without it!
Love the lady throne !!
haha, me too!
I love how people customize and decorate their rigs. The lady who had lace frills around her door and the one who decorated her “throne” just make my heart so happy.
They all make my heart so happy!
I will get my T@b this was great !!
Yes!! Enjoy it!!
Your so old school, “tips and not hacks” love it you rock!
hahaha... old school or just getting old?
The clock\door was such a neat idea!
No kidding, such creative people!
The clock in the cabinet is a pretty good idea! LOL! 😆 and I was thinking of the keypad lock as well!!!! I’m glad someone did it.
The CLOCK is the marvel!
Right!? So simple but so genius!
I love the clock in the cabinet door idea!
Me too! Not only is David a great person but he's pretty darn smart too!
Umm... he's wearing a clock on his wrist. If you can't see the watch in the dark, you won't see the clock.
Tip-my T@g camper has two doors. I already had one of those mesh screens that hang from a curtain rod as a temporary screen for doors. They're sold in Walmart and other places for less than $10). I separated the two panels and velcroed (sp?) each one over the inside of each door. The length of the panels are long, so it hangs to the ground. The mesh can be trimmed, but I like it the way it is. Plus, the magnets on the side and bottom let me stick it to the outside of the trailer when I'm rummaging under the mattress. Leaving both doors and windows open with screens makes great air flow leaving the little guy stay cool without using the fan-saving my battery for the cooler. Cheers!
Some truly great ideas and some were just personal touches.
The best one I really liked was the tongue storage box. That guy could have a cottage industry on his hands just modifying others trailers. Leave some room to place your rolled up door mat.
Moving the locations of items like the license plate and hoses were very practical, so long as they function.
Extra solar power and extra storage solutions are always welcome ideas too.
Good video.
Thanks Tommy! Glad it was useful for you!
Love your videos! Keep them coming!
Thank you! Will do!
I don't even have a Tab trailer and I was super impressed by these people and their ideas! Awesome!
That's awesome! I guess you could use a lot of them in any RV...
I want to thank you Mandy, I now own my own Tab and am loving camping in it. It all started with watching your videos Mandy, thank you.
That's amazing news!!! I'm so happy I was a part of your journey. What did you name her/him?
Love the DIY clock!
I love the out door bathroom like the shower
The tips were great and so creative! My fave was just seeing how excited people were to share their mods.
That's my favorite too!
Looks like a nice weekend camper.
It's not a bad full timer either ;)
Great ideas especially that tongue box extension!
I know!!! I want to do that!!!
Hello Mandy. Love the Tips & Trix with the Tear Drop Campers. Lots of great ideas. We have a Little Guy, Rough Rider. ( 5 wide ) done about 15,000 km so far. Just love it 😁😁😁. Please keep the videos coming, we really enjoy them. Cheers from Michael & Leah. Australia.
Thank you so much Michael & Leah! There will be more tips and tricks coming soon :) I appreciate you watching!
Very helpful! A wealth of knowledge. Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
I did like the fact you interviewed people, who had REAL TEARDROPS,As in if you can standup in it,it’s not a real teardrop.
We just picked up our tab today at be young rv in Portland OR. It is perfect and we can't wait to take it to the coast next weekend! Thanks for all your great videos on tab trailers and all your adventures. You make my day! Happy and safe travels to you as well.
Awesome! You will have so much fun! Best of luck and message any time!
Great ideas
Thanks!
Awesome tips from the t@b and t@g owner. Love the design and build of them.
Great information. I like the idea of spotlighting others. "None of us are as smart as all of us". 😉
One of my greatest beliefs!!
Was going to comment but you summarised it perfectly. I will second that
Great tips! I love how people make their trailers look so cozy and homey.
Its a fun project for sure :)
I just bought a 2018 outback! Reaction from family members is, you can buy a lot of hotel rooms for that price! There is no adventure hold up in a hotel room life is too darn short! :)
That might be true... but you own your camper and can sell it when you're done. Try to sell back those hotel stays haha!
We don’t have a t@b but a converted 6x10 CTC - hubby is 6’3” so the 6’6” high roof is awesome! And being a family of 4, the boys on bunks in their own space beats sharing queen beds in a motel/hotel room any day!
Yes we fit a queen-ing sized bed, & 2 singles (bunk), & a dog in 6x10.
As usual, great video Mandy. I wish I lived closer to Princess Craft because I really appreciate how authentic this dealership is and would love to purchase my camper from them.
You never know, they might deliver!
We just purchased a Truck Camper from Princess Craft. They work hard to meet your needs. And to compare them to other dealerships? No comparison. THEY ROCK
Hi Mandy! Please keep posting tips videos like this! They keep me so inspired to join the T@b full timers family! xoxo
Always! I hope you can join soon!
Love this video. Thank you for showing us all the creativity.
You are so welcome!
Conduction burner are wonderful !!
AWESOME ideas , This is a great way to travel and not want for anything . Keep on thinking minimalist and the ideas keep on following . Its amazing what we can do without .
For sure! Living the life only perpetuates wanting to keep it even more simple :)
Mandy, that is a brilliant video! My teardrop is very plain but I'm ready to tear into the little beauty. There must have been 50 ideas that can be useful! Thank You!!
Yay!!!
Tess M. -- they make aluminum screen guards for doors. They might be too big but maybe you could alter it. You can get them at most home improvement stores, I think in the area where they sell the doors. I bought one for my house to keep the grand kids from pushing our screens out and my mother in law bought one to keep her dog from doing the same thing. Or maybe a piece of plastic lattice you could cut to size.
Very cool, Mandy! If you come across people with pets who live in the teardrops, like cats, or dogs, and they have some tips on how to do it, I would love to hear those too! These people were so creative. I especially liked the lady who made the window covers - I can imagine the inside of her trailer was totally glamped out!
For sure! There are LOTS of people with dogs in these campers.
I'm subscribed to them too! I would love to see how people handle full timing with cats!
Well Done! I liked it so much I subscribed. Thank You and God bless you. Keep on doing what ya do!
Welcome to the channel! Thanks for the sub :)
Love the upgrades! Fun vid!!
I can't wait to go to IKEA and get some of those holders. I'm hoping they'll hold on to my side shelves above the windows in my 06 DM ❤️. Rock on Mandy Lea!!
I have a feeling you'll find something just right!
Great video. You just earned another subscriber. I’ve been living tiny for a year now. I’ve gone from a 1,500 square foot house to, apartments to a travel trailer. Couldn’t be happier. Safe travels.
Hi Gary! Thanks so much! I'm glad you found me :) And, congrats on finding the path to tiny happiness :) I look forward to having you along on the journey!
Awesome is right, great people. The lace trimmed window awning and the cabinet door clock were among the most charming ideas.
People have the best ideas!
Thanks! B.t.w you so adorable :-) Have a nice trip!
You're awesome! Thanks for sharing!
One thing the boondock people neeeeeeeeeed to remember is....u have to put a cover over your spare tire. The sun/heat will dry and crack it untill it's unusable and that's bad news when you really need it out in the Sticks! It's almost not a mod it's a necessity.
Yes! Great point!
AWESOME tips!
Thank you!
Good videos, tha ks Mandy❤ safe travels👍👍🙏⛱️
My wife and I are in the planning stages. Still deciding on what kind of rig we want and I love seeing all these hacks before we get it so we can already have it all planned out. Love your red hair by the way. Subscribed
Thanks Mandy....great vid.
That little trailer is just awesome. Saw it at an RV show...just awesome!! Enjoy it.
Yes it's great!
Lots of great Ideas Mandy! Thanks for sharing :)
Not my ideas but I'm happy to share!!

Excellent video full of clever ideas! Well done!
I'm pretty good and taking other peoples ideas ;) But thats how we all grow! By sharing!
That was really neat 😊
Those are some clever ideas!
Great ideas!!!
Love these - Thanx!
Thank you. I'm collecting info, and this is very helpful.
Love love love your videos setup, involving so many . Ver diff perspective, thx, keep them coming :)
Thanks Manon! Yes, more to come!
Hey girl. Great tips and fun to see others having fun out there! Good to see you are doing fine! Take care! Cheers! ;)
Hi Vicki! Thanks for the message!!
Keyless door love it .... great tips .. yessssss
I know! I still need to implement that one myself!
Just don’t show _your_ combination to the entire Internet! :^)
I soooo enjoy all of your videos!
Thank you!
Number 13 lady....just adorable:-)
Extremely informative!
Thanks!
I like the manufacturing changes, which would be good for standard manufacturing to consider: I particularly like 1) Box out the front portion of trailer arm 2) Key code (key-less) entry lock
I agree! They are always listening to customers so these may come in future versions!
Hi Mandy, terrific video! thanks so much~
Thanks Steel Nora!
Hi, I was wondering if you could share more about the shower set up and the portable solar panels. How was the water supply connected to the shower and which solar panels were those? This video was very helpful and inspiring!
Great video and tips hope to see more😆
Some great tips there
Brilliant video. Great idea and great video.
Thank you!
This is awesome 💛
Thank you!
Hi Mandy ~ I've followed your blog for a year and love it! You have an almost 'twin' - my youngest daughter who also loves photography and her RV is a catamaran she's building. I live in a 32 foot Class C motor home and I'm interested in finding information about living full time in a teardrop camper. I really like the T@B Outback interior. And I love your adventure stories. I also originate from Grand Junction Colorado. Not sure about living in a teardrop along the Carolina Coast which gets a lot of humidity and rain. Thank you for all the cool ideas! Randyl
I think you could do anything you set your mind to. I can tell you that living in a teardrop isn't the right solution for everyone, but it was for me and I couldn't be happier.
Mandy, I like your videos. One modification I had to make to our 5-wide and then to our Tag, was to shorten the tubing on the front wheel. The tubing got bent when going thru a steep curb return. I cut off 3” and haven’t had a problem since.
Great to fix things huh?
I liked the clock on the cabinet door (#10), so simple, #7 the hanging bins, and the window cover #13 but not so lacey....LOL. A bunch of those were good, but those I like best.
Some things are so simple!
Great Ideas! Can you make a video on security and safety on the road? I know you had a T@b stolen once before. How do you prevent that from happening again?
Oh yes! That would be a great video! Added to my list!
Can you take a wheel off when you leave it? Of course you might have to take the spare as well.
This was fabulous ideas 🌷🌸🌷🌷🤩😀🌸🌸🌷🌷🌷🌷😍😍😍😍😍
I wish I could claim them all :)
Great video 💚💜💙
Thank you!
Dang this is a wealth of information I am on my second build of a teardrop the first one was a 4x8 and this one is a 5x8 and I will use many of these mods on this build.
Awesome! Glad I could help!
Great video Mandy.
Say that's a fancy water bottle. Lol
The guys ideas for storage were great. And then shop at IKEA
Exactly! IKEA is great for campers!
Nice video!
Thank you!
I’d like to remove the furnace and air from my 2011 T@B U Teardrop and recover all that storage and add a porta potty cabinet... any body do anything like this ?
Mandy... maybe a video ?!
Thank you
You're welcome! Hope it was helpful!
Really enjoying your videos. Just found you today.
Awesome! I try to get the videos out more often but I'm slow... just now got another up though!
Love this. Any suggestions on how to start? Anything I can read?
I suggest getting out there to some RV dealers and checking out all the different options. See what feels right and what other questions arise as you look around at them. Watch videos like this and many others living on the road... Most of all, just follow your gut.
I with australia sell the tiny vans. They are so cute
I just love redheads
So I’m a little concerned now: I’m considering purchasing a tab but now I’m afraid of waking up to mosquitoes and gnats all over me while at the same time the exterior panels will be discoloring and starting to “look like crap”.
Great video! Any idea which flexible solar panel was used on the T@b?
Oh gee, I'm honestly not sure and will have to go check...
I have seen those at Canadian tire and trailer parts stores. Also check ebay! Hope that helps.
I zoomed in and the brand is Suaoki - her's looks like the Portable sun power mono-crystalline version. suaoki.com
Wow, some ingenious ideas! I'm betting it wasn't milk in that flask ;)
ahaha, if you watch my other vids you'll know what was in there :)
I’ve been traveling this way for years & never have run into these “meets”. How do I find out about these gatherings?....and I live in Texas!
Sounds like there are a lot of problems with these units that require modifications to fix. But I like them just the way they are 😊
These aren't problems to be fixed, they are features to be added. Everyone has their own custom ideas.
Yes, I see. By the way are you official spokesmodel for these trailers?
I can't sell anything direct, but yes, It's official
Mandy Lea Photo they should make one in an orange and blue color scheme to match your hair and jacket. It would look rather fetching like you 😊
Mandy, do you know anything about the flexible solar panel that can roll over the top of the tab. I would love to get one! Love your vids.
I don't recall the exact model she had but I know they sell them on amazon...
Great vid, thanks! Many solar panels out there, different price points, attachable, roll-up, suitcase...good advice I saw was to have one where you can set it up away from your camper in the sun, but park in the shade (if hot out).
Yep, teardrops cry out for personalization!
Totally!
#3 is awesome. 1:30
can you provide more detail on #12 the flexible solar panel
Hi Mandy. My partner, Aubrey and I have become fans of yours. You have helped inspire us into getting a T@B 320 S eventually. We are hoping that at some point you will give a liveability/technical/operational overview/tour/evaluation of your new T@B now that you've spent some time in it. We've seen a bunch of dealer videos but your insights would be so informative. Someone warned us that these trailers have poor insulation, can get very cold and condensation can be a real problem. What has been your experience so far with the T@B 320?
First, thank you!! I am so glad I have helped inspire you and I hope you begin your journey soon! Great idea about the video. I do get a lot of questions along those lines and I am constantly trying to put out more and more videos. As for insulation, they are not technically "4 season" campers, however I have camped many many nights below freezing. The propane heater actually works great, and if you are anywhere near power you can plug in an electric heater as well. The camper WILL get lots of condensation on the inside, but that is natural. Just make sure that you always crack the vent up top, even in the cold, and you'll be golden :)
Was that whiskey in that little flask you had Richard?
It usually is :)
1:56 #4 Tongue Storage for the sewer hose!
Awesome right!?
Can someone tell me what exactly is that solar charger in the video? I want one!
Me too :)
Check Amazon.
There many of similar style and quality
Alot of people want to get solar but
Forget about wind. Get wind also..
Because when there is no sun there
Might be wind to charge your batteries..
No one is answering what type of panel. Please model and any extras to hookup.
It's a Suaoki foldable Solar charger panel set.
