LOL they literally remind me of dementors so much but yes I learned her name last night! I'm now on Chapter 8 and will be uploading my journey every Monday as I go! She's adorable though! But also Roche CRACKS ME UP! Sephiroth spooks me but I'm excited to find out more! I'm learning so much more each time I play and I can't help but smile. Thank you so much !
@@adventureswithstephers Roche gets hate by more people than I thought he would. He's actually funny in my opinion. I think he's hilarious and one of the more exciting fights in the game.
@adventureswithstephers I don't blame you :) VII came out in 1997 when I was eight years old. I feel so ancient now, but I feel you on the Tifa crush 😂 I was eight years old thinking "I want a woman like that when I'm older" 😅 and I do highly recommend X and X-2 as well :) especially the former of the two. FFX is my other favourite childhood Final Fantasy game. I would've been about 13 when I first played that :)

After playing the original, I feel like the Remake really brought the characters of Biggs, Wedge *and* Jessie to life. Barret is one of my personal favourites, too. Heart of gold behind that steely bravado, haha. You saw him with his little girl, Marlene. ☺️
Are you using a 3rd party controller? if so the game might not be detecting it correctly and may be assigning a number to each button. It might be worth turning Steam Input on for this game to see if it starts showing you Xbox controller buttons. If you're not sure how to do this, right click the game in your library, click Properties, then click Controller on the left. There's a section that says something like "Override for FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE" and a little dropdown box that probably says "Use Default Settings". You could try changing that to "Enable Steam Input" and see if the game picks up the controller properly and shows you the right buttons. Sometimes that can present your controller to certain games in a way that makes them show the right inputs. Even if you aren't using a 3rd party controller it'd be worth a shot to at least try this to see if it fixes your issue. Looking forward to more videos!

Believe me you're gonna LOVE this game! Although you really should've either played or watched a game movie of the original FF7 game first. All you need to know about Cloud right now is that he's really a lost man who doesn't exactly have his priorities in order acting like this rude closed off Ex-SOLDIER merc who only cares about getting paid for a merc job and not about Avalanche's cause to save the planet. He's also got some serious PTSD problems in his mind as you saw. By the way it would be much easier if you was playing this game on the PS5, or haven't you got one?
I am already falling in love!!! I will definitely watch a game movie of the original once I'm done (or when I have some free time!) I wanted to go into this with as little knowledge just so my reactions and thoughts were genuine and new! Cloud is giving broody man who is struggling. I feel for him and I'm excited for his character development (more of it I guess!) I currently play this on PC! I don't have a PS5 unfortunately but I use a controller, it's just not an xbox one so the buttons are numbered vs normal LOL

LOL I'm using a Stadia controller - someone in a previous comment recommended me trying the Steam input setting so I'll be doing that moving forward
Just use steam settings from the get go should be close enough to the real settings
