So much takes me back to the late 70's, early 80's. Set reminds me of his 1980 tour obviously. September 1980 when I first saw this guy. Southampton. Nash the Slash backed him up. I'm sure it was his fault I've got tinnitus. Happy days, where did all that time go.
@@GarryWootton i must admit, after Telekon/Dance i seemed to have forgotten about Gary, this year's tour has reiginited my interest in Gary, made me realise how he mesmerised us back in 79 , i can't wait to see him again, hopefully playing his classic material
I wasn't able to go to this year's tour because of serious health issues but thanks to you filming the whole show I will enjoy later, I've watched a small amount and it's excellent,so thank you for sharing this video....
Hey Gary if you see this play some reall old stuff you think people dont want to hear. Every time you do you are amazed people actually sing along!! Joe the waiter. Music for Cammilons,Air crash bureau!! Your next LA show take only requests! Buy a ticket a month before the show get a web link and the fans get to make the play list.AAAHHH MY DREAM SHOW.ANYONE KNOW NUMAN FORWARD THIS TO HIM!!!😊🎉❤
I was at the Ritz on the previous night. Of course, we already have Replicas and the Pleasure Principle live on dvd, but the 45 Anniversary tour was a triumph. I purchased the 45th Anniversary 7" single too. Gary is now taking a well-earned break.
@@outpost31737 Why do people willingly take his comments on that topic out of context? He was never interested in doing novelty 80s nostalgia tours around the country with other bands of that era. Plenty have done so, but Numan has always been true to his word and never got involved. These anniversary type tours he does don't really come under the nostalgia tours heading for me. He's got a rich back catalogue that would be criminal to ignore. It's just one string to his bow, though. He's still current and still not only makes new music but also tours it tirelessly. He's far from a washed-up has-been living purely off something he did over 40 years ago, like many on the nostalgia circuit are.
I get that! But show so love to the 40 plus year fans like me! Seen him 1980 last time 2020 countless shows! Sooo many great songs. Mix it up once in a while! Well love you more (if that's possible 😊)🎉❤❤❤!!
