Hello - nice video . I have a 2” screw in optolong l enhance filter . It’s not clear to me how I can use that with this scope . How do I mount it ? Thank you
Great video also showing ASIAIR handling. I'm not familiar with horsehead nebula images but Is this big white star with white halo usual? I assume you did use the live stacking function with ASIAIR.
I always omit polar alignment. I just align the latitude with the scale and point the direction north. Still, I am satisfied with the guiding accuracy.
@@masaschumit1502 Amazing. I'm really struggling to get decent guiding after trying to polar align as good as possible. Next time I'll try your approach. I guess you also don't do 2 or 3 star alignment?
@@rcpattaya230 I am amazed at the accuracy of AZ-GTi's autoguide without polar alignment. Of course, I do not run star alignment, only plate solving with ASiair Pro.
@@masaschumit1502 Yes, Fantastic. No polar alignment, just pointing at the north pole star as good as possible, no plate solving, no star alignments. Guiding is within 2". Unbelievable.
Great video. Do you think that the same rig weight (FRA 400 + ASI air pro + ASI 120 mini+ small guide scope+ DSLR camera) is suitable for a Star adventurer GTi?
The mount is fine. ASi178MC may have some drawbacks: low sensitivity due to the small pixel size, and a narrow angle of view due to the 1.8/3" sensor size.
Hi there, Fantastic results ! I am trying to set up a similar kit. Can I ask what the replacement saccule is in the AZ GT mount ? It looks like an SVBony one. Can I ask where you got it and if it is a straightforward replacement ?
Thanks for your comment. The clamps are from SVBony. The base of the clamp was commissioned to be manufactured. You can get that base by consulting your local astronomy store. Please refer to the following blog. plaza.rakuten.co.jp/blacktigercat/diary/201901070000/
hi thanks for this video. You guiding is amazingly good! I have got the same setup ( Azgti, ASIAIR and askar fra400) but I rarely guide below 2” total error. Would you please share your ASIAIR guiding settings with me?
Rach 2 is a good music choice 😊
Hi. Why are there halos around the brightest stars?
I’m considering a similar setup. Maybe on the AM3 tracker mount.

How do you polar align the AZ-GTI?

nice video but why do you use so high gain ? 120 gain for the 294 mc is ideal
Thaks for your nice advice.
Nice setup
Thanks

Star adventurer GTi's weight limit is 5 kg, the same as AZ-GTi, so I think it can be used in the same way.
Hello, can i use this scope to view dso with an altaz mount and asi178mc lielve stack with good results?

@@masaschumit1502 Thanks for that. I get it now and I to wondered what was under the cap to fix the existing clamp. Did you get it mad in the UK ?
@@TwoHandUke Sorry, I am not familiar with UK astronomy stores.

Good polar alignment, and levelling.
