Took a look online -- the remainders of her product are on sale about 90% off and the website says final sale. Looks like she's closing down. I don't see any mentions of it anywhere except on that site.

Isn't that basically Lush? They've been around for more than a decade. They are plastic free, animal cruelty free, vegan, etc.
to be honest i dont think steven was rude at all for chiming in when touker had seemingly stopped speaking and then politely said his one sentence and let it go back to touker. and i think some people dont understand his gripe was with touker not sara and its pretty normal for people to chim in during questioning. (and well for those who think steven doesn't get on with anyone on the den, him and peter act like brothers to be honest)
I completely agree and am bamboozled by this comment section. However, I think the other commentors have the inside track probably having seen more of Stephen not being respectful. Weirdly, every one I have seen he comes across well mannered with good questions and advice. Without the gravitas behind it that Peter or Deborah have. So far I have seen Touker get sassy with Peter not wanting to do business with him. So I got the impression he's just a bit of a premadona.

Water based ink doesn't really mean anything. There are plenty of water based materials that are bad for your health or the environment.
Wow nothing new. Thousands of brands are plastic free and even more are vegan cruelty free etc. She literally thinks she just did something here. LUSH did this but much better decades ago. K beauty and proper dermatologists made brands with active and proven ingredients are in. Skincare is massive and consumers know so much about it. No one needs nice smelling soap bar now. If anything, more and more people get hypoallergenic fragrance free skincare. So late and so not unique. I can't imagine using a bar of soap for hair or body. On their website the ingredient list isn't impressive at all either. And perfume is high up on the ingredient list which means there are quite a lot in the product.

You do have to wonder if someone is "carrying" this business, because its not her. That is able to keep an account open with a major supermarket is impressive based on the pitch. Does not seem concerned that she is still losing money.
She spent all the money on marketing and couldn't even get an increase in sales year on year. All she is doing is buying her sales through social media, and basically she is paying 1.2 pounds for every 1 pound in sales. Anyone can do that.

I ditched shampoo and began using the same bar soap I used on my body on my hair also. Shampoo and conditioner are not at all needed, in particular for those with short hair.

I haven’t used conditioner in 2 years now, and you’re right it is not really needed.
You'll kill your hair eventually, a soap bar is not PH balanced enough for the hair, in 10-15 years you won't be able to get a brush through it and your scalp will dry out

How come these entrepreneurs don’t seem to worry about losses when I am so careful not to go overdrawn and if I do on the odd occasion my bank is so quick to charge me at their interest rates and have on occasions sent rather unpleasant letters.
Surely those that have colossal overdrafts should be targeted first.

First time it gets rained on in transport, it will turn to a pool of suds. Also, bathrooms by their very nature are damp places. Love the concept and brand name etc but does it stand up to everyday handling. Bet there is plastic packaging somewhere along the way.

I think if ever there was a clear cut case of an offer to buy the whole business, this was it.
If a Dragon had offered 300k for 100% of the business, giving her some sort of royalty in perpetuity, she'd have taken it.

At the end....prove the dragons wrong? The dragons were right. How can the company be worth a cool milly, if it's running losses every year. She needs to prove it to herself that she can make money with it. At the moment she's proving even herself wrong. Just because you can sell something, doesn't mean it's an investible business. It's making a loss. Anyone can sell at a loss.

I've been using shampoo bars since 2012 and have tried a number of eco-friendly bathroom alternatives. In 2018, when she started her business, everyone and their grandma knew about packaging-free bathroom products. The product names and packaging remind me a lot about Anatomicals. I don't see anything unique about her brand, tbh.
