    You forgot THE NUMBER 1 most basic and simple balisong trick: "The Screaming Bloody Hand Drop." It is performed as follows:
    1st - Have a balisong knife with razor sharp edge blade.
    2nd - Execute any fancy balisong knife flipping trick.
    3rd - Screw up on the execution.
    4th - Have the edge of the blade slam into your fingers, palm, thumb or any other part of your hand.
    5th - Let out a painful scream.
    6th - Drop the knife.
    7th - Watch in stunned disbelief at the massive amount of blood pouring out of the wound created by the knife.

    Thank you so much, my Father just passed away, and I'm going through everything and I come across this, as i knew it, a butterfly knife. I had never seen it before, he never showed it to me. I think he may have brought it home from Japan, he was in the Korean war and spent a lot of time there, anywho, I want to learn how to use it, thank you again!

    Also just nailing all those tricks like it was nothing multiple times in a row is very impressive.

    just for the record, the difference between the y2k and zen rollovers, are the handle that you hold, you hold the safe handle for the zen which is more dangerous, you hold the bite handle for the y2k which is safe.

    Y2k is a vertical thumb roll Zen roll is horizontal catching the bitehandle. The y2k you described is just the precursor to a Zen rolover. Not necessarily wrong just worth clarifying the terminology to those new to ballisong so they don't get confused later on

    • @kitchenmaiden81
      @kitchenmaiden81 6 років тому +9

      No, that is incorrect. A Y2K is the same around the thumb movement, yes. However, with the Y2K you begin with the bite handle and do the simple rollover. With the Zen rollover you begin with the safe handle and in order to not get cut you end in a wrist pass. They are very similar, but they are different moves.

    • @JerichoKRX
      @JerichoKRX 6 років тому +1

      kitchenmaiden81
      A Y2K is a *vertical* rollover. A Zen is a *horizontal* rollover. A wrist pass is basically a different move, you can end many rollovers with a wrist pass such as the helix or 8ball, but it doesn’t make them different moves.

    • @drewkulenguski3148
      @drewkulenguski3148 6 років тому

      Brandon Cornett Hi. I remember you. You don't understand the difference between a Horizontal Y2K and a Zen rollover. Oh fuck. Sorry, Wrong person. Hi Brandon. I remember you from Sky 2065's stance on clones. I was thinking about someone else. Please forgive me.

    For the zen roll over you hold the handle by the safe handle that’s why theres a wrist pass at the end. After you roll the Bali song around your thumb it should come at you with the blade coming towards you that’s why you do the wrist pass.
