You forgot THE NUMBER 1 most basic and simple balisong trick: "The Screaming Bloody Hand Drop." It is performed as follows: 1st - Have a balisong knife with razor sharp edge blade. 2nd - Execute any fancy balisong knife flipping trick. 3rd - Screw up on the execution. 4th - Have the edge of the blade slam into your fingers, palm, thumb or any other part of your hand. 5th - Let out a painful scream. 6th - Drop the knife. 7th - Watch in stunned disbelief at the massive amount of blood pouring out of the wound created by the knife.
Thank you so much, my Father just passed away, and I'm going through everything and I come across this, as i knew it, a butterfly knife. I had never seen it before, he never showed it to me. I think he may have brought it home from Japan, he was in the Korean war and spent a lot of time there, anywho, I want to learn how to use it, thank you again!
I dunno if you wrote out some notes ahead of time or what, but you're REALLY good in front of a camera either way. You should have been on live TV. I think that's your calling. Also just nailing all those tricks like it was nothing multiple times in a row is very impressive.
Please for the love of humanity look up Slash'n Cut . Your opinion on this guy would change in the speed of light. He may still be doing a good job for the basics, but compared to Slash, he is a mortal to a God.
Just so i dont get wooshed, I know this is a joke I started with a live blade and can share a tip, always pay attention on which edge you are supposed to hold, and practice the steps individually instead of doing the whole thing right away and well... using all of those bandages, just a bro tip
I got my first one yesterday. I got it for 17$ on Amazon and I love it. Definitely gonna start collecting them and learning more. Thanks for the video, I only know the basic wrist flip open thing, and I can kind of do the upside down flip open
just for the record, the difference between the y2k and zen rollovers, are the handle that you hold, you hold the safe handle for the zen which is more dangerous, you hold the bite handle for the y2k which is safe.
when you want a balisong but your parents don't let you so you don't cut yourself... glad i found out about the existence of butterfly knives at the age of 15 and not 9. I'd be making lego balisongs too then lol
2:05 you never try to grab a knife when I falls out of your hand, #1 RULE YOU SHOULD KNOW BY NOW! Always pull your hand away slowly or don’t move it at all
I don’t know what balisong that is, I think he said it but I can’t remember But some balisongs are like 700 dollars, and I’d rather get a small cut then drop it on what may be asphalt, or even dirt
Y2k is a vertical thumb roll Zen roll is horizontal catching the bitehandle. The y2k you described is just the precursor to a Zen rolover. Not necessarily wrong just worth clarifying the terminology to those new to ballisong so they don't get confused later on
I havent been able to find clear tutorials for tricks like anywhere. Not that theyre all bad but i just have a really hard time grasping these things ig. I've just been doing little tricks that feel cool, still fun
No, that is incorrect. A Y2K is the same around the thumb movement, yes. However, with the Y2K you begin with the bite handle and do the simple rollover. With the Zen rollover you begin with the safe handle and in order to not get cut you end in a wrist pass. They are very similar, but they are different moves.
kitchenmaiden81 A Y2K is a *vertical* rollover. A Zen is a *horizontal* rollover. A wrist pass is basically a different move, you can end many rollovers with a wrist pass such as the helix or 8ball, but it doesn’t make them different moves.
Good shit, Dylan! Definitely subscribed. I had to put it on slo-mo a couple times, but, yeah! Workin on these pups with a Black Legion balisong trainer, because my Bench Mark has my fingers lookin like a lumberjack was having a go at it! Punks NOT DEAD--but my top layer of skin nearly is...
I can imagine someone uses the title for beginners and the video content be like, Zero Gravity Ladder, Twirl & Murnax Ladder, Helix, Kiss Goodbye, Behind the Eight Ball, Orbit, Reverse Index Roll, Index Roll, Chaplin, Zero Gravity Chaplin, Dutchman, etc lmao
Brandon Cornett Hi. I remember you. You don't understand the difference between a Horizontal Y2K and a Zen rollover. Oh fuck. Sorry, Wrong person. Hi Brandon. I remember you from Sky 2065's stance on clones. I was thinking about someone else. Please forgive me.
I got mine coming soon, tryna learn some tricks online but I literally can't comprehend what's happening in the video lol... I'll be fine when I get mine and get a feel for it though hahah
Nice,i have a question,i want to buy a butterfly but i dont know if i should buy it without a sharp part or with a sharp part, what do you think..Also i want it for tricks
For the zen roll over you hold the handle by the safe handle that’s why theres a wrist pass at the end. After you roll the Bali song around your thumb it should come at you with the blade coming towards you that’s why you do the wrist pass.
Im buying my first butterfly knife soon man i do plan on using your video here to start learning how to open and close it..Nice video bro..very informative
